Theoretically: 200 from 0 ?

Completely solo, how long would it take to level a guild from 0 to 200? (Or is it 150 for all ship buffs?)

Just want to test something when I get on the new servers.

Depends on how many sagas you are willing/able to run in a day lol.

Load 5 alts into your guild (to get +300% small guild bonus and for multiboxing), run a Sov guild renown booster (+300%), run on a +50% guild renown weekend, and each true elite saga is 112k renown.

Getting to 150 costs 95m/112k = 844 saga turnins/6 toons = 141 saga runs. With a VIP skip and factoring walking time for your 5 boxes, probs like half an hour for Cogs? So like 70 hours of eyebleed Cogs runs? Or like 75 if not a bonus weekend, so you could spread it out lol.

I don't know if saga turn-ins have a ransack mechanic, but I can't find anything about it with a cursory search.

Presumably you can take guild renown as a quest reward sometimes and some drops from enemies etc, but that's largely a non-factor compared to saga turnins.

Wow, that’s way too much work.

Ok hear me out.

What if you invite a whole bunch of people to your guild (like make it look like a legit guild and all; like a lot of smiley emojis n’ sheet haha let’s run Von together) and then…

Once you hit 200; you just kick them all out?

140 gives you everything, sagas and renown pots, a true elite sage with a pot grants 240k, more when combined with a bonus weekend.

Edit to add that is for a guild with 6 account members.

Is this your moral character? You invite 10 people to do your work and then fire them?

You're portrayed very well, in your own words.

This is basically what mass recruit guilds do - invite anyone. Boot them if they've been inactive for x days and keep 75% of the renown to make room for active players.

A large guild with reasonable active players will level up quickly. It's a lot tougher for a small guild, but reasonable if you focus on it since they removed decay.

The formula to level up a small guild is simple:

1) If you have less than 6 active members add dual boxes to get to 6
2) Runs all sagas
3) Run challenges with at-level characters to obtain guild renown potions (or buy 3 hour store potions if you can)
4) Take a potion and take all the sagas
5) Rinse repeat

You need 85MM renown, but are getting from 120-240k per saga depending on which renown pot you use.

You get all buffs at 140 not 150 if you have the largest astral shard ship. Not sure about the plat ship - you might need the AS version there.

https://forums.ddo.com/index.php?threads/best-way-to-get-a-200-guild.18243/#post-234725 this is your thread asking pretty much the same thing go get a life you're beyond pathetic
that's very astute however there is a problem...the Nameless One very accurately "predicted" the arrival of the 64bit servers. so either they are a soothsayer escaped from one of homer's classics or...

Or the Nameless one is an executive either at SSG or...EG7...possibly even Mr Ji Ham. So I'm stickingout my neck and welcoming Mr Ji Ham to these humble forums. I hope you are enjoying the interactions with the customers.

However assuming you are an executive...even the absolute top one, why don't you ask SSG to give you one of the multitude of stranded maxedout guildships that are currently leaderless? Change the name of the guildship and you're good to go :)(y)

Hire private contractors. When building is done, bury them in the wall?

There is a timer for heroic sagas - I've a heard a week mentioned, but I think it's a bit shorter than that. After taking saga reward you can use /quest to get the exact timer.

There is no ransack mechanic that I am aware of - there is a ransack for quest end rewards so it is possible, but I think it's unlikely anyone hits it - they would have to really work to do that.

I can run heroic Thunder Sea, over level, in under 90 minutes.

Heroic cogs is even faster, but the timer mechanic on heroic sagas makes ransack an impossibility.

I never recommend farming the same thing over and over as it's boring, but if someone wanted to do that - Legendary COGS would be the way to do it as I don't think legendary sagas have a timer.

I find running as many sagas as possible then taking a guild potion much better than farming as single saga as a daily, but the calculus might be different for someone willing to buy more guild potions.

Exactly why I run heroic thunder sea. I often skip it when leveling then go back when I am ready to collet sage rewards. I have trouble running legendary Cogs on solo elite.
