The best endgame gear comes from raids and you cannot reroll chests in raids.

The problem with the reroll system right now is the loot chances at chase loot are very low. Mists of Ravenloft had good drop chances and so it was worth rerolling even 3 times to see if what you wanted dropped. MD is just not that way.

you should be investing in packs based on their playability rating. if you're obsessed with named items you should consider the cycle of TR/repeating quests. I think that MIGHT increase your likelihood of obtaining particular named items

Without SSG posting loot tables, named items and drop rates, chest rerolls are a predatory scam that show a lack of ethics on their part (IMO ofc).

This has been mentioned a lot over the past years. The only way SSG will stop this practice is if players stop rerolling and the $$ pipeline dries up. If one disagrees with the current drop rates and reroll practice they should share this with group members to help stop the wasted $ that encourages SSG and their parent companies.

A reroll on legendary is 15 shards. On epic it's 12. On high heroics it's 7. On low heroics it's 3. I'm thinking you've never rerolled the max.

I think if you are spending shards on rerolls you should be guaranteed a named item. And if you reroll a reroll the named item you just rolled should be removed from the loot list.

Unsure what content you’re running and rolling on where a roll is 3 shards. If the loot is good, please let me know so I can feel better rolling 3 shards instead of 15!

So $35 - $60 spent rerolling so far for an item that more than likely will get replaced with a level 34 item from Lamordia or level 35 item next year or level 36...

I suppose if push raiding it might be worth the cost, but I don't need MD gear for R10s and LH pug raids. Those keep me amused enough. At least that's how I rationalized not sweating over MD gear and planned to regear my IoD and Vecna stuff with Lamordia.

Data miners deciphered loot drop tables long ago. It's how I know the drop rate of getting a specific Shattered Device rare is 0.04% compared to 0.075% for a specific Dreadbringer rare. The same people shared the drop rate of Nebula Fragments when they were released.
