Hi I am Pumax,
Some of you know me. Maybe it is from raiding, or other reasons. I am sick. I have been suffering from seizures for a while now. No brain bleeding, no tumors found, or nothing to scary. Realative to me anyways.

On Friday. I was short man raiding on Chronoscope. Level ranges was 6 to 9. With a guildie that I am teaching how to play this game. We had six players in party when I blacked out fighting in the bank. Earier my doctor cleared me saying, "The Findings of the tests where unremarkable in my MRI and EEG." Which sounds Great. But clearlly that is not great. If I am blacking out while raiding. So on 6/11 I am going to see him again. I am choosing for the time being to not game. Which S_cks A_s. I came to on the way to the ER with memory loss, pain, and a bitten tong. I left the ER with out being able to drive, swim, or do anything stressfull.

The main thing right now is that we do not know what is wrong with me.

I do expect to be gaming again. But thats with the blessing of my doctor, and with a new type of med. You know the kind of med that actually works. and not those cheap ones that might work. So I might come back after 6/11.

I think stuff like that sounds like pressure on the brain and the only current known way is to drill a hole into the skull to relieve the pressure. I'm surprised your medical professionals didn't offer you this option

Oddly enough, late Jan I had another* mini-stroke, of all places, Chrono, docs said it was sensory overload. Puma you were still a member of guild when that happened iirc
strokes usually occur as a result of an attack on the nerval system resulting in a loss of muscular control. Intruth we live in era of mass-produced convenience foods often pumped with a plethora of chemicals that the moment your body tells you where to go, you should focus on a simplified strictly vegan diet and natural fruit drinks to give your system time to flush out the filth that's builtup over the years.

Anyway good luck getting your body mechanics fixed :)(y)

It would be nice if we could just get a concentrated tasty ham oil infusion to fix all of the things that ail us.
Hope they figure your stuff out. 🙁(y)

Good luck and god bless. It sounds like you and your doctors do not know the cause of your troubles. I will tell you that DDO does not seem to take photosensitive seizures into account as they build their game. There are tools available to test games for this and to help the programmers in building a game that does not have photo-sensitive seizure content. DDO does not seem to care to use these tools. It may be totally unrelated or it may not be. Best wishes to you as you try to find the causes and navigate your life accordingly.

Best of luck to you mate.

I had some scary stuff a few years back with occasional fugue states. Spent a few days in hospital stroke ward to get checked out. Thankfully only migrainous and not degenerative, so can cope, but it was terrifying at the time, so I empathise with what you're going through, and hope they can diagnose your issue and sort it out.🙂👍

We tested for photo-sensitive durring the EEG. You really got to do some deep diving into the whole subject matter. The number one cause for seaziures is stress. But that claim is unsupported by Science because there is no supporting evidence. Like it has never been repeated in a lab.

That sounds barbaric. Almost as bad as removing an 8mm long Kidney stone with a laser.

I'll share news tommarrow. Hopefully good news.

Which quest did this occur on? There is some precedent that strobing lights can cause seizures, and we have several quests which have such effects, or that purple bloom seems to cause migraines for some.
