That's the only part I don't like. The whole bit about having to farm gear fresh is NOT why I play DDO. It's exactly the opposite. A big part of continuing DDO is leveraging bank assets to avoid farming.

As a side note... With the recent name transfer drama, has anyone ever considered how many names will end up being taken up by useless/dead characters because SSG decided to hold an event on live servers ? 
And, of course, the "event" is a boring uninteresting grind.
The rewards are not interesting at all.
Also, yes, I know this might just be me, but I hate wings—they block my vision and I can't see enemies behind them. And there's no "hide other players' wings" option in DDO.
The ruined items' borders was a horrible decision. And, did I hear it right, but in the recent Fridays at Four Cordovan said this borders will stay after the event will be over ?!
And, of course, of course, I don't need to know that yet another 5 level-ish "ASDhkjah-12" player died. I don't know them and don't care !
I hope SSG will open dedicated opened 24/7/365 days in a year Hardcore server WITHOUT THE TRANSFERS to the "normal" servers whatsoever, so all of the hardcore lovers can stay inside their bubble and be happy.

They can make it even easier : no transfers from Hardcore.
That way they'll effectively separate the playersbase so everyone would play the way they want to and can even implement different rules for normak and hardcore server so normal servers won't be affected by yet another wave of the nerfs that SSG will bring upon all of the players just to make the new hardcore season "fare" or whatever they try to achieve.
Having just 1 server for everything (PvE/PvP/Normal/Hardcore/etc.) is a road to have a disaster.
