Our new Tyrs social media hubs:

FACEBOOK:

INSTAGRAM: @tyrspaladiumguild

Our social media is used mainly for recruitment efforts for those who don't use the DDO forums. Naturally, we welcome anyone to chat with us on our socials, ask us questions about the guild, anything -- we are new to this. We are pivoting our recruitment strategy and expanding to social media because sadly the majority of gamers looking for a guild and all the others that arent are just not on official forums like this one any longer.

And we are building a NEW TYRS WEBSITE, and I can't wait to see it go live!! We are and always will be a OLD SCHOOL D&D guild but we will now be able to tie our story together in a much more modern way. When it goes live later this month, we welcome everyone to check it out.

Great question. A little background... We are in the process of redoing our webpage, and logo. We are emphasizing our ancient gold dragon more. So we will be settling soon on specific banners, including some of our newest art. But for now Im playing around with fonts images etc. There IS a core rhyme & reason flow...

I like D&D fantasy art. In RL I live close to the Frank Frazetta museum which has inspired me. https://www.frazettamuseum.com/?srsltid=AU7gw4Xu5IyImRqwNGZF-VOT2lGPuCMUqWtKXx_xfTCRacPLGFa0ZdFo

These are my favorite old school D&D artists ever:

Larry Elmore
— polished heroic realism, believable armor and characters, strong storytelling, warm cinematic lighting. Probably the best reference for a classic Dragonlance / adventuring-party feel.

Jeff Easley — darker and more monumental. Huge dragons, castles, warriors, smoke, fire, dramatic skies. Excellent for guild banners, raid imagery, and intimidating dragons.

Erol Otus — strange, colorful, dreamlike and occasionally grotesque. Less realistic and much more unmistakably old-school D&D. Great when you want something weird, magical, or dungeon-oriented.

Clyde Caldwell — bold characters, saturated fantasy color, glamorous heroes and villains, and especially recognizable depictions of powerful fantasy women. Strong for character-centered recruitment or class artwork.

Keith Parkinson — enormous sense of scale: mountain ranges, fortresses, dragons, armies and beautifully rendered landscapes. Probably the strongest choice for epic guild-world scenes and panoramic fantasy environments.

All of my art has a little dab of these artists in them, as well some of my own elastic lunacy...

We will be reaching out much more to social media outlets like Instagram, Facebook and Reddit, and others. DDO is the only game we are in that has a website still useful for recruiting new members. Out of thousands of DDO hires I did over the last 18 years, almost ALL Tytrs recruits came through the DDO website. Others came from in-game of course.

Here's my newest digital creation just awaiting our new recruits that join our ranks. Thanks for asking your question WielderofGigantus.
