Elvis Presley could actually play the guitar. It wasnt just a prop, he was a phenomenal rhythm player, and was a master song arranger. Played with a lot of soul.
Here's a taste of how he got down with BB King and influenced BB to write in his autobiography that EP knew more blues songs than most blues artists! They would jam for thousands of hours .. visited each others shows, that had quite the bond. Its no wonder BB liked jamming with Presley. Never publicly sadly...
In fact this very concert gave MTV the idea to create their popular Unplugged TV show many years later.
