Often imitated, never duplicated... EP was a nerdy kid who failed music class, but after performances like this one, caused a nationwide STORM, and death threats started to poor in and they didn't stop until he passed.
All because a man that looked like he did became a force in the Youth Revolution of the 1950s and swam upstream in the Civil Rights Movement wanting to bring people together through song.
This was considered dangerous, even the album cover became a work of art taught in art/photo classes.
... and just a few months later he ripped it up on the Tommy Dorsey TV Special... prime time! And the females LOST THEIR DANG MINDS!!
And Rock and Roll was SURE to sweep the nation and world after this appearance was done.

One of the great bass riffs by one of the greatest rock minds... Felix Pappalardi. He handled the sound engineering and production for Leslie West and Eric Clapton. Without Felix, Eric and Leslie wouldnt have sounded the same.
