To Hot To Handle is broken, again?

The raid THTH is religiously bugged out, I get that. It almost wiped our raid group last night. Here’s what went down.

First round of puzzles went down just fine, trash and the boss weren’t an issue during this phase, naturally.

The second round was when it started to go south. Our resident trapper went and diffused the traps by the puzzles and pulled all the levers but the party was still getting fire stacks that were getting overwhelming. I went up to puzzle 3 and also pulled the lever 3 more times each time it wouldn’t work, so as we are getting 1000 point fire stacks I have to start solving a puzzle with mobs on me while our raid healer miraculously kept everyone alive.

I know that it doesn’t sound like a huge deal but I have done that raid enough to know that isn’t normal. You can always solve the puzzle by disabling the trap during this phase. The same thing happened in the last phase but with all four of the puzzles! Thanks to the DPS of the raid group, we ignored the puzzles and could killed the boss for a success.

Just thought I would bring this to the attention of the community so that it hopefully gets fixed. Not upset just kinda annoyed by the extra stress it caused on the group.

If you pull the puzzle levers to quickly after disabling them, it will break it...you must wait at least a couple seconds after doing the trap before pulling it.

Since when?

The only issue with pulling levers is an elite/reaper mechanic. If you don't pull all four within a short window, then you're F'd and have to restart.

There has never been an issue as a result of pulling the levers "too quick". As Ying pointed out, the lever issues arise in reaper as you must pull levers on both sides simultaneously within a short window otherwise the puzzles will continue to "reset" endlessly.

The only other thing that would keep the dot going would be if the coolant tanks aren't done

oh okay, it always seemed like a thing when someone is trapping and someone pulls the lever right after or around the same time, that puzzle just bugs out.
