To Whom It May Concern (Steelstar?): A Raid Item Wishlist

With the upcoming Terror of Demogorgon raid, I thought I would be proactive and suggest some items I'd like to see from the raid:
  1. Deep Catalyst: Malchor's Undersun Goggles
    • Combined with the goggles, grants a purple (or green) augment with both True Seeing and Undersun properties.
  2. Thunderforge Conduit (runearm)
    • Electrical Storm (rune arm blast)
    • Insightful Magnetism x+
    • Quality Magnetism x+
    • Insightful Rune Arm Focus x+
    • Fulmination: Rune Arm blasts have a chance to reduce enemy Magical Resistance Rating and Universal Spell Power. (Legendary Ash)
  3. Twin Prince's Insight (ring)
    • Nearly Complete: Spell Focus (why? because the raid item would have a higher stat than what drops in the quests)
    • Nearly Complete: Insightful Spell Focus
    • Exceptional Spell Focus Mastery +2
    • Insightful Spell Penetration x+
Anything you'd like to see in the raid?

EDIT: Revised items based on feedback.

On the Runearm, I'd like to see Insightful or Quality Magnetism too!

On the rings, Wizardry or the Classic Green Steel SP effect, since that stacks with everything too.

If we're getting a Greatclub Barb archetype, a nice raid Greatclub with an expanded crit range and Leg Ash or Dust would be sweet too.

Caster items with double school SF effects. Not weapon or shield slot.

item A
1st slot- SF Evoc + Enchant
2nd slot - Ins SF Evoc + Enchant
3rd slot - Spell Pen
4th slot - Nearly Complete with a choice of ant spell power or insightful spell power.

Item B with Conj + Trans, Ins Spell Pen and NC as above

Item C with Illusion + Necro, Quality SF and NC as above.

Thank you.

With the Lightning Soles in the game, I think you're right that insightful/quality magnetism would be better on the rune arm. They mostly limit items to 4 effects, so I'll replace intensity and lore.

I want a new rune arm shot type that does a ray style attack. Long range, single target. So I can actually hit a boss in a raid without needing to be up in their face. There's lots of melee/semi-close range runearms, but nothing in the sniper range to match my pew pew setups.
The one listed is the same as Toven's Hammer, which is long ranged. Unless it's broken?

I wouldn't want an item per school, but it would be nice if the raid had a crafting altar that would allow us to choose the spell focus and insightful spell focus we wanted.

I've made this quip elsewhere a year or two ago, but it still holds true...

Put an enchantment on it that's currently broken, or never worked, or is not for the weapon type it's placed on, add improved destruction, an orange and purple augment slot, and call it the Steelstar Special.

I guess going by more recent history you add a crafting element to it that puts a legendary greensteel effect on it, because why be creative and come up with something new when you can just cannibalize existing procs for ideas?

Additionally, make the initial version of it real bad, so when it goes to Lamannia players point out how bad it is, get real salty over their valid criticism, and then begrudgingly change the item to more fall in line with what the player base pointed out makes sense, if you change it at all.

How about something new for a Pet. We have not seen anything new since Feywild, if memory serves.

Armor Piece: Accuracy, Deadly, Profane Well Rounded, Nearly Complete: Ability Score. Then one of every augment type (like the B.Sword Thirteen. Heck, even throw a Solar slot on it. It is for a pet after all. Would need to fix the augment problem of course.

Collar: Identity Crisis, Some Shroud effect (Ash/Dust), Improved Destruction. Pets don't need to do great damage, but if they could help debuff mobs, that could be an interesting use for them.

As for something others might use. I would like to see a Shield or armor effect with some guards on it that scale off of PRR. Something to give tanks a nice tool to play with.

Just tried Toven's electrical storm shot and it seems to be working currently (it's also my idea of mid-ranged compared to where I can shoot bolts from, but yeah, it's long ranged for a runearm). I thought it had the same levels of wonk as many other single target ones, while a ray just hit the target without dealing with physics weirdness. Tons of other rune arms do stuff like this:

I love the idea of dual focus affixes. I would expect to see enchantment paired with illusion, and evocation paired with conjuration as well.

I'd be fine with a new long-ranged, single-target, electric rune arm blast. I just know I'm more likely to get stuff I ask for if it already exists :)
