Tome question ????

I received a +8 Dex Tome, however I only have a level 14 character.

• +1 and +2 bonuses will be applied at character level 1 and higher
• +3 bonuses will be applied at character level 3 and higher
• +4 bonuses will be applied at character level 7 and higher
• +5 bonuses will be applied at character level 11 and higher
• +6 bonuses will be applied at character level 15 and higher
• +7 bonuses will be applied at character level 19 and higher
• +8 bonuses will be applied at character level 22 and higher

If I use it now, do I only get the +5 bonus?
As I level up will I get the +6, +7, +8 or am I capped at +5????

I don't want to waste it now, if I won't get the full +8.

You can use the tome at any level and not lose anything. The additional bonuses will be gated until you reach the appropriate level.

Once read , if you check the inherent Dexterity in your Feats panel , you'll will read '+8' even if in your character panel in the description of your abilities it 's gonna show you '+5' capped by your level .
