TR Cache

try with ship lag, or bank lag and see how far that goes for ya

I do it in the Harbor every time because that is where I start questing and there are trainers in the Harbor. You dont have to do it on the ship - which I would think is the worst place to do literally anything.

I grab out all the stuff I use early on every life- bags, teleporter clickies (key, bottle, d12), and a few utility items. Then, I clear it out as I level (particularly if it's the same as I used last life). If I'm waiting on someone for a quest, I do a little bit of clearing out. I did a big purge of stuff a while back, moving BtA stuff to my account storage and then stuff that never gets used to mules, so I have plenty of character bank storage for all the BtC stuff and any BtA stuff I just move back into the bank when I'm done with it. Takes me about 5-10 minutes now, huge upgrade.

Just curious how people treat there TR cache. Do you keep your TR cache loaded or do you empty it right away after you TR? I try to not keep junk to a minimum and keep my weapons fed to reduce the amount of items going into the TR cache, but stuff still sneaks by. I tend to empty it fairly quickly so I don't have to deal with it when I'm ready to TR, although I used to keep it packed full and faced a Tetris nightmare come TR time. OFC I have a few alts that have loaded TR caches but I should really clean them out soon. Have a great day and enjoy your gametime. :)
I look at it once a week and curse it out. Remembering all the times I've had to unpack all 250+ items one at a time. Only to have it all go right back for me to do it again.

I'm not that Smart
I am almost always playing on my Main. I tend to stay at Cap exactly because the act of Etr/Tr'ing is such a huge pain. I am however one of those sicko's that immediately empties my Cache. To make matters worse, Im so OCD, I move them to my Inventory before putting them in my Bank Account, so all of them are Leveled Properly. (If I dont, and just transfer them form the Cache to my Bank, the Item Level doesnt seem to work properly) So now my secrets out...

Now I just have to figure out what to do with all of the Potions of Mnemonic Enhancement, and Scrolls of Deadly Weapon I keep hoarding.

So I just did a TR. From being at the pre-quest for Korthos (which I skipped) to being level 4 and having all my gear ready and my TR cache emptied it took around 17 minutes.

Feels like that isnt too bad given how much I did and how much I skipped (thank you 80k worth of xp gems).

since I run multiple characters all at different stages in the TR cycle I tend to limit what is in the TR cache to BTC and gear for the life.

Most of my consistent TR characters are running racial lives using the same class so level gearing can be the same each life.

I've recently re-organized my mule characters (HD characters with space mostly) and shuffle unused but want to keep gear to them.

For me the advantage is that by level 20 there is very little gear left in the cache as all gear above 20 would be previously acquired BTC as all the other gear has been shuffled to mules - since by the time these characters return to above 20 there is likely a better gear set sitting on a mule that I can swap towards.

Empty right away after TR.
