TR quarterstaff crafted

What would you suggest to craft on qstaff for toon that still doesn't have named collection for TR purposes (I assume heroic, forgot to ask)
I looted 2 slot qstaff and offered to another player to craft them one but got no idea what would be useful since I never played qstaff build
@Uska can you provide more info on what build you plan using?

If going melee, I would go with force, light, or good for the prefix and slashing or piercing for the suffix. Augments, anything that adds ghost-touch (unless you can get it elsewhere) and an elemental damage of your choice. If it's lv 10 or above, add vampirism.

I actually have a lv 1 bow with force/bludgeoning (I didn't recommend that because you are talking about a Qstaff) and cold/acid augments that I sometimes forget to swap for the higher lv versions of it until I hit 10 and switch to my RL gear.

Cannith crafted: ML: 4 Good Damage, Bludgeon Damage, Slot Acid and Electric damage Rubies.
Heroic Ferrocrystal: Ooze beater.
Though, IIRC, there's a nifty named quarterstaff available in Crystal Cove this weekend. EDIT: The Broken Oar.
Also, level 10: you can get a free undead beater in Barovia.

3BC has a lvl 4 named that is great for non expansion loot.
ToEE staff till you go into epics.
So maybe stone to 4?
If that is not an option: Force and and maybe slashing. Slot a ghost touch and good augment in it.

Cheers,
Titus

I used named QSs most of the time, some of which are fairly easy to come by. But I do use a cannith crafted staff for oozes - So I'd go something like Ghost Touch QS of Everbright with acid and cold damage augments.

Heads up I got this from Lacci in another thread, https://forums.ddo.com/index.php?threads/seeker-majic.12930/#post-151604

Seeker would be good if you're going to beat baddies with the staff.

Go get Elemental Bloom x2. That's the simplest farm for a heroic QStaff and it will take you to 16 really easily and ultimately heroic cap.

Other staffs that will be usable include a Blueshine Qstaff for Oozes and the Barovian Qstaff for additional striking power against Undead.

At heroic levels Cannith Crafting doesn't really give you plus options until late heroics. I tend to prefer Armor Piercing and Doublestrike but named items will always be better.
