Training dummies: why are they soft after going down once?

In SWTOR, on your ship, you can actually get tougher training dummies. They have both Operation and Flashpoint dummies, with general resistances and health for those higher difficulties.

Since we have a lot of extra room in the cargo hold with the resistance shrines removed, it would be nice to see the ability to purchase and place more beefy dummies. You could have something like the following:

Normal Dummy (Current)
Cap Dummy (HPs and resistances of typical enemy at current level cap)
Reaper Dummy (Level 20 R1 typical mob)
Raid Dummy (Level 20 typical Red/Purple Name Raid Enemy)
Cap Raid Dummy (Same as Cap but for Red/Purple name)

And then charge a crap load of Platinum for the Reaper and Raid Dummies. Like 1M or something outrageous. It would give the players a better DPS test and get some plat out of the game.

In a side note, it would be nice if they allowed spellcasting in the cargo hold, so we can test spell damage as well.

The training dummy is a left over from the old ship buffs. You used to have to kill the dummy in order to get the buff. On a busy ship it was easy to get a bunch to pound down the dummy to prime it. Then each person needed to kill the dummy to get the buff. The buff was only awarded to the person that made the final blow. People complained that it took to long to kill the dummy so they made the first kill hard and all subsequent kills easier. The dummy gets reset after a period (unknown to me) and the entire process needs to be repeated.

yes, upper right that's a plugin to have an even more detailed dps report than what the dummy does, and those red\green flashy bars in the middle-ish, that's a plugin too. in lotro buffs and debuffs are those tiny lil small squares under the health and power bars. that plugin for buffs\debuffs is to have them displayed clearly, like, to focus on stuff, i guess that's a dps build, on the stuff like after this attack for 3 seconds you have that buff, and those fully customizable plugin buff\debuff bars are really helpful.

Oh right--I had forgotten about those. That does make some sense. In that case maybe a new separate version of the dummy which doesn't have that effect or perhaps changing one of the dummies in the Proving Grounds amenity to have the old behaviour would be doable.
