Happened to me 3 times. 1 hr later the 4th try succeeded. Server are overloaded with data so have patience.

Well, I'm jealous, haven't been able to get Khyber to pop up on my choice of servers yet been trying since 4:00p Eastern /shrug

Please tell me that was your entire characterset of 5+ on khyber...and not just one character.

Otherwise Cordo...most of us have realworld lives OUTSIDE DDO...we don't all work for SSG

I've hit the transfer button after packing 1 character on Sarlona. I looked at a blank Character Transfer Wizard (just the hour glass) for about 45 minutes before it offered me Select World with only Wayfinder as an option. Not sure if I just need to come back later, or if I'm not doing something right.

*Note, I tried it again, and after about 5 minutes, it offered me more worlds, but still not Sarlona - the only world I have a character packed.

It was a singular character, in particular because I want multiple chances to capture video. :) But it was a "real" character, the old Beefheart from Aerenal, so moderately weighty in terms of footprint.

you hit a definite server slam now that it's after work hours.

I don't think it's possible to have 100 toons (per account) on one (1) server.

Now, if you're talking across the 8 old servers, okay.

gamers have charactersets on multiple 32bit serverworlds. And multiple accounts particularly for carrying unbound gear

You must learn the ways of the "Click to view transfer guide" link, and the hope that comes from the displaying of your DDO Points total.

How long did any of you take from transfer to confirmation email? What I'm seeing here seems to indicate an hour is likely?

My transfer was almost exactly an hour but that was initiated about 2:45 which is well before I daresay a lot of players were not home from work yet. Now it will likely be longer.
