If the named is banned you can't get it. You can put in a ticket and ask the name be reviewed.

Edit: You created a character with the same name and now that name is banned, or you created a character with the same name in order to force a name change to some other name and that other name is banned?

I created a character with my desired name as a placeholder. I then transferred the character with that same name from the Old server. I then deleted the placeholder in the new world. But, the game tells me the name is banned.

Very weird that you could create it the first time, if it's supposed to be banned. Curiouser and curiouser.

I did another transfer attempt last night for Godloves sometime after 9pm est. I have not received an email yet, and it is 1:30pm the following day. Why has the system stopped sending success or failure notices, because it has been 3 days since I have gotten one? In addition, I will wait to try for the umpteenth time from Kyber to Shadowdale after the fix attempt.

Lol; for my 12 transfers i only got 2 emails. Don't wait for the emails. If you can transfer again the previous transfer has ended. Easy check.

Always good to check the basics, yes. But I did pack and empty caches, yes.

You can only transfer characters that show up in transfer portal and only those that are ready and able to transfer, i.e. packed, i.e. TR cache emptied show up. You cannot even attempt to transfer otherwise.
