Transferred Warforged character not available :(

Hey, there.

I transferred my Warforged Artificer that I had in the previous server (Cannith), where I unlocked Warforged race with favor.

Even though I transferred all my characters from that server to the new one (Shadowdale), this character remains locked. I tried to talk to Nyx Durandimion with every character that has high favor but to no avail.

I'll try to unlock warforged race by completing the specific arc in Sharn, but should it be really necessary at this point (and will it work)? If someone can help me with this issue, I'll be grateful.

You will need to favor unlock warforged (and possibly Arti) again, though SSG supposedly has a fix in the works for favor unlocks...

What happens to my Favor?​

You can earn first-time-per-server DDO Points through Favor on these new 64-bit worlds, and you can earn them on Cormyr if you have not already earned them. There is a specific issue related to access to Server-based Favor-granted rewards following transfer, however. Access to Warforged, Favored Soul, and 32-Point Builds does not persist following transfer if that access was solely granted through Favor.

This means for example that if you only have access to Favored Soul by acquiring 2500 total favor, you will not be able to log in with your Favored Soul character until another character on your account earns 2500 total Favor on your new game world. This impacts the ability to access Warforged, Favored Soul, and 32-point Builds if access was granted through Favor (as opposed to an expansion or other purchase). Please note that we will be offering a solution to this issue in the near future, and we encourage players to consider that a free solution will be available soon if they are thinking about purchasing access through the DDO Store.

Cordovan stated that SSG were concerned about the favour unlocks, He also stated DON' t PANIC. my opinion is play to have fun for a couple of weeks. Relax sort your stuff out. Then try and plaaaay. personally. not many problems

Your options are either wait for the free fix, buy WF (a waste of points given a free solution is coming), or quickly knock out 400 total favor on a new (or TR'd) character to unlock it on the new server.

Warforged is only 400 favor, you can earn that back pretty fast. There are plenty of groups doing low level quests on the new servers.

It only takes 400 favor to unlock warforged, I had to redo it on my box account. I just dragged it through some super short quests. Harbor, tangleroot, a few in house K and P, some sharn on heroic elite. Can be done in 2-3 hours quite easily

For those talking about starting a new character to get the favor back, unfortunately it is not an option, I already filled my 5 slots for this server with the other characters. I'll try to get 400 favor with one of them and see what I get.

All the new 64-bit worlds got +10 character slots. You sure you're out of them?

I would sure hope he could get a refund of points and state the main reasoning behind being a main character that could not be played due to the favor requirements, and not being able to meet them on another character, etc etc, if they released a code with free access.
