UPDATE: Transfers have been re-enabled. We did some work earlier this week to resolve many outstanding stuck transfer concerns that required individual work. However, that work had to be rolled back due to a subsequent issue. We will bring transfers down again soon to do this work again and have further information.

Transfers are temporarily disabled while we do some investigation and maintenance, and we will let you know when transfers have returned.

Sometime next year when it clears QA and their CS ticket que has return to acceptable normal levels before another pile up of 64 to 64 transfer tickets. This is from last week Friday at four.

will the unpacking be back up as well in while? my transfer went fine this morning but unpacking has been disabled on shadowdale i hope so its my main guys and stuff just came back after a break

So many had repeatedly said not to perform a mass transfer but instead to deploy it in stages. Yet here we are three months after the fact, with the outcome being pretty much what everyone expected.

Returning after 15+ years, couldn't find out why the transfer button wouldn't show up.. so I just have to leave my characters in transfer limbo until otherwise noted?

Unfortunately, yes, they are troubleshooting an 'issue' they haven't clarified.

On the upside you can create a fresh character for the easy first time favor rewards.

I can do things others can't...
Would certainly like to see this back up and running soon, my test cleric hasn't been ported yet and tried to transfer them before I remembered that this was disabled. So still sitting on some tests that need them to perform to get some clarification on what exactly has gone wrong.

I haven't played for 3.5 years. What's another <insert unspecified period, as per usual>?

I guess I should be reassured that absolutely nothing has changed in that time? Operational Excellence still missing from the SSG dictionary.

Still not fixed. I've only had trouble with one toon. It's packed on Ghallanda, but does not appear in the transfer tool. Just tried. Still packed and still doesn't appear in the transfer tool.

From what Cordovan posted, it appears that work which might have helped, had to be rolled back. Hence why no change in your case. They're going to attempt it again later.

Can we get any information or news on 64 bit to 64 bit. I assume since the copy went well from Live to Lamannia we would get an update on this.
