TRIPLE Everything... now what?

It's called Otto's boxes.
Usually. But some people just spam r1s, which don't really prepare you for endgame stuff very well. Once you've ran through 1-34 a few times, how much are you really learning each life? Probably not much, especially if you're using essentially the same build each time. It's easy to end up with a lot of past lives...

...but also a stain on the wall because that triple hit ogre smash was never something you thought about avoiding before.

It's "Mario Kart vs Chess" as I've heard them compared.

Good endgame players are almost always good at TRing, the opposite isn't necessarily true.
Slightly disagree- I’m at 170ish on my main, 4 away from full epic comp. Regularly do mid-high reaper raiding and I haven’t made my mind up on my final life.

It’s just a tie between being a super strong tank, or some sort of nuker at this point. 😅

Well you have some idea though based on your experiences. I think that's pretty normal, there are a few different builds I've enjoyed but it's hard to pick just one!

my favorite class is Warlock, but it cannot do all things. not too happy being a upfront MELEE, not my sytle.
Warlocks actually make superb debuffers. 18 lock 1 rog 1 ?? can handle ALL traps in game and debuff. I'm pretty sure you could paste VKF TWF on top of 18 ES.Lock and make an R1~R4 raid tank that also debuffs. It would be a melee character, though.

If you put salt in the OH, Warlock has sleet and can get ice storm for a very nice no-save CC. Debuffs not quite as nice, but Salted Sleet is enough to CC the lava walkers in 2H2H, devils & bats in VOD, etc..

IMHO, x/bow for a raid DPS is a "bad" pick; you'll likely have half the DPS of a thrower. Completionists have all the top thrower builds available. Also, as a thrower, your OH can be a weapon for LGS features (won't work with thrown weapon, but will work for any spells you cast .. like salted thorn puddles).

What I would do won't help you at all; I'd likely pick one of the multiple-LTR builds, like RC 12 DWS 5 DL 3 SF|Monk. It should have top DPS and be able to raid tank up to R4.

Go with a tank, it's not a disappointment. I feel like God on my paladin. I take 0 damage in LH raids, and barely anything on R1 raids (I can use Renewal and self heal the damage taken..)

I watch other peasants die. (for the more casual players, this is sarcasm)

Oh yeah, even on my 3rd life tank every raid is a joke on LH and all but Skellys and FoM are a joke on R1. I won’t even bother bringing him into an LH raid anymore lol.

I will LIKELY go tank, because that’s my favorite thing to play. I just wish they were a bit more able to solo content (except bear tank, that thing is strong ) But my main being a tank will give me an excuse to get some of my other toons geared and stuff.

I look forward to your post asking what to build here then! L O L

How can you get to triple everything and not know ?

Also … wiz rogue ?

You should be telling us what we should build.
Right?!

I've already decided what I like best. (well down to two actually.)
My decision is based on what is fun for me to play.
(Although I'll just keep those to myself, since they keep nerfing everything.....)

This isn't the same thing.

You're not asking the community at large "how do I build a good tank" or "what should I run for a nuker"? At this point, you know you like tanks and nukers. And I'm guessing you already know what builds make good tanks and nukers.

People play the game in different way. Neither your way nor my way is the universally right way.

If you have nothing constructive to add the most constructive may be to add nothing.

just play a cleric
But do we want an animal domain cleric in reaper raids that doesn't heal others but doing DPS only? Also, this is a melee cleric with HP bags.
cleric caster DPS in reaper raids aren't great either; and evoker FvS DPS has been nerfed to oblivion.

Even if someone has done all the PLs, TR-ing is still possible (unlimited)
If you are not satisfied with the build you play or got bored of it just TR and do something different.

A maxed PL character has much more option and power on a build and a medicore build can be strong with those extra benefits.

Geez people he's specifically asking for advice on building an endgame raiding char

Anyone who thinks that being good at leveling also makes you good at raiding has obviously never raided...and that comes from someone who doesnt raid :D

OP, yes I think Arti is a solid choice. RXB puts out good single-target DPS, which is what you want for raiding (whereas leveling is all about AOE), trapping, spot healing. The dog probably isnt relevant at endgame past Hard mode, but its got everything else you're looking for. Probably splash a little Rogue and/or Dark Hunter to tack on some more sneak dice too.

Oh, I added something constructive. If you can't see it, that's not on me.

I'll be a bit more simple though - If they somehow haven't managed to learn the different builds and classes well enough during 140+ TRs to answer this on their own, the information they want regarding builds is already readily available on these forums.

They just need to search and read a bit. This is the answer:
https://forums.ddo.com/index.php?forums/character-builds-and-classes.24/

For example:

If the OP doesn't know how raids work because they didn't run them while on the TR train, the best solution is to join a guild that does some mild push raiding and that is willing to teach them.

Reaper raids have a learning curve and the way you get through that is to do them.

Maybe someone wants (beside the build - what only someone will know what someone prefers) a honor too.

So for me:

Gongratz for the work!
(And I mean it so: im nearly there too 😅)

Ok, back to OP…

Why do people show up to threads questioning the validity of the person? Derpy business. Especially derpy in this thread because spending time doing 3x means less time hanging at cap mastering end game and making perfect gear sets.

Anyhoo, based on OP, you might want to do ranged DPS if you don't like frontline melee. Otherwise maybe melee will get you more raid dps right now. The melee dps option for you would probably be a pure DPS role with some defense, but staying behind most bosses, letting someone else tank. Keep in mind any dps whether melee, ranged or caster needs to be debuffing, or in the case that your raid team is organized, you can relax that idea with the more general notion that the team needs to do as much debuffing as possible which means quite a few folks are debuffing and ideally the debuffs are coordinated so people use different debuffs for the most part. Not sure if there is a better single target DPS route for casters after the Epic Destiny shake up, but seems like Draconic destiny buffing Wellspring and Ruin/Greater Ruin is going to be the route to go for single boss dps; make sure to boost spell lore and crit damage as much as possible - IoD augments being a good option for crit damage.
