Solos legacy R7 content just fine (not CR36 content).
18Aas/43T/26DWS/13HW
34LD(T5 w/ mantle), 26FotW, 15SD.
5 pc IoD, 3pc Stalker, Cunning Impact, Truthful Blow
No DC, No CC, Quick Cutter line up...my cc is dead mobs...dead mob can't attack or move or cast.
It's all about controlling the field. Ban ranged from joining your party. The lil' s4!ts ruin tempests ability to be effective.
What weapons do you use? Dual Attuned Dinosaur Bone Scimitars? Vulnerable + PRR debuff?

I actually put enough points into Intimidation so I could counter the ranged and caster zergers that didn't know how to play well in a team and pinged mobs before melee and the tank had engaged.

So, actually, I was thinking Kukris, not daggers.
Kukri's are great with vistani applying to them. Plus slashing so if you want to swap between scimitars and kukri's you only need to reset the vistani enhancement tree and respend the points, no need to talk to Fred. Epic Midnight Greetings is an easy get and a lot of fun to level with in epics. You can go standard double dino weapons at cap, though I am partial to using the The Labrythine Edge as well.

You got it!
Ok. Thank you for the advice. Might be a while til i can get 2 Bone Scimitars. But what do you think about Nightshard? I heard that Identity crisis is really good, and would be added CC

LGS Salt:
Attacks and offensive spells have a [100%] chance to greatly reduce enemy movement speed and attack speed [about -90% slowdown]. This inflicts 8 stacks, which all fade at once after 11 seconds. Has a short internal cooldown [1/4 seconds]. Doesn't affect bosses.

Yes. with Vistani, i use Ancient Vulkoorim Daggers for lvl 10-20, then Midnight Greetings from 20-30.
How is the Identity Crisis of Labyrinthe Edge? By the description of LGS Salt, it seems OP.
Does it really decrease attack speed to 90%? and in such a short span of time?

I used to run Niteshard years ago...but they're way outdated.
Most importantly, the 2x Bones are part of 5pc IoD set.

Great. It only applies to that weapons strikes (not like true LGS effects or the dino aug where they applies to all attacks/spells). I still use an LGS Salt 1h offhanded with a sleet storm scroll every life from lvl 26+ if I'm about to pull something a bit spicy.
Identity Crisis also applies max stacks of the attack/movement speed debuff like LGS Salt, whereas the dino salt aug only applies one (allegedly, I haven't had one drop yet to test, someone who has one can probably chime in on that).
The slow down doesn't effect red names though, so can swap out for a 2nd dino for red names or if you need a specific bypass.
When I ran tempest with kukri's, I was able to get the 5 piece dino set bonus with just the one weapon, so could easily swap between the labyrinthe edge and another dino blade.

I’m at the point of end game gearing. What would be the best Scimitar combo for a 2wf Dex tempest? I have a Legendary Vulkoor’s Edge, two Alaina’s Cutlasses, two Shining Reliquaries and a Dino bone blank. Is it best to have 2 dino bones, or combine it with one of the others? What is the best way to build the Dino bone weapon? I have a Rapier twf Rogue who is now at the same place, if any advice can be offered there. Thanks!

long live ROGUE
I've been going over this repeatedly just to make sure since I'm confused:

Longswords: 17x4 (requires 1 feat)
Kukri 15x3
Scimitar 15x3
Dagger 16x3

So, actually, I was thinking Kukris, not daggers.

As Thulsadoom mentioned. He thinks 40 pts Tempest, 41 pts Vistani would be best.

Ok, So i think I might go Str instead of Dex. My Dex at Cap would still give me about 22 dodge. So that is 30+22+6 from Quick Cutter = 58% dodge, still helpful. I will be able to Stunning Blow and Trip 3 targets compared to no CC if i were a dex build.

I was also thinking of picking up 3 Dragonlord for both the Str Trance and the Dragon's Roar which would be my first line of CC before Stunning Blow and Trip.
That would leave me with 17 Ranger 3 Dragonlord. I was thinking I could splash a bit more from that point.
2 barb can give Movespeed and Blood tribute.1 Bard can give 4 Str from Skaldic Rage and some Attack. Skaldic Rage from Bard also gives Healing charges for Fury t4 Unquenchable Thirst

Only issue with kukris in the long run is that they lack favored weapon status. Be it a Pally or cleric imbue, or use of Divine Crusader—they are locked out.

Yeah thats the main problem. You're basicaloy hoping for a favoured weapon curse (like on a shuriken/falchion).,

Whats the best way to build- 1 for debuffa and the other straight damage? Then be able to swap one out if every necessary? What perks would you suggest- I’ve only made caster weapons so far.

The only reason I go STR and longswords Is because
Oathblade is amazing during epics. There aren't really any stand-out weapons L30+; eg. pick scims if you have M4 raid scims or Longs if you have those already, or Attuned whatever if you need raid debuffs.

These days, I like 41 VKF a lot. It's particularly nice with Kukris. Maybe T5 Tempest + 41 VKF on 18/1/1 with at least 1 in warlock for arcane warrior. Midnight Greetings during epics for this; most gloss over or don't notice the extra INT.mod enhance it gets, which makes them hit like trucks.

Lots of viable ED choices: LD, DC, FOTW, SD, GMOF all work. GMOF or LD for Mantle. FOTW for QQ strike. DC mantle if your weapons can be favored. Pickup consecration but don't trigger it manually; let it auto-trigger at 50% health so you can use QQ for DPS.

SD is nice if you're more raid or group focused and can rely on sneak-attack being viable most of the time. Nice stuff all the way to T4. If you go sneak-heavy, SD's strike beats QQ around 30? sneak dice via Paranoia.

One with PRR debuff, other with Vuln.
Can also take +2 exceptional stats (I take DEX/CON)
Rest is up to you, DR breakers, etc

FYI I recently changed up bone scimmies to bone LSs (Went Welf to get DEX to DMG). But same concept applies whether using LS or scimmy. Cap 34 and recent racial points gave me a good path to taking LS DEX to DMG. It works. Moar DPS!
