Pretty sure this could run ddo:
Samsung Chromebook 4, 11.6" HD, Intel Celeron N4020, 4GB RAM, 32GB Storage, ChromeOS, Platinum Titan, XE310XBA-K01US
And it only runs a little over $100
Ddo isn't very resource intensive compared to most games/mmos.

I'd be surprised if the ChromeOS could run Windows-based games.

OP, a Microsoft Surface tablet could definitely run DDO. However, they are expensive and unless you get an attachable keyboard and a mouse (or maybe an Xbox-type controller), I'd be dubious about how well you could play it using only screen touches whether it's with your fingers or even a stylus.

it has a keyboard and you can attach a mouse. Spec wise it should be fine for ddo.

The hardware specs might be able to play it (and that's a heavy might), but ChromeOS, which all Chromebooks come with, most likely cannot. ChromeOS is a very limited operating system, and if you want to run Windows apps on it, you usually have to do it through a remote session linked to a "real" windows computer, which doesn't help us here.

Precisely.

Thank you.
