And maybe Steelstar will quit coffee and start only drinking tea, but I'm not taking any bets on anything that wild ever happening in my lifetime. Assume that it'll be typically slightly better gear than what we currently use. Worth using but nothing leaps beyond the current; just the expected progression of it being 2 levels higher. Steel's been pretty consistent in gear design lately; even the latest stuff from the pack release today is pretty solid for the types of quests they are.

It wasn't even that strong, that's the funny part. We're passed the amount of spell power you can get in the game from back in those days.

The problem with those wasnt necessarily that they made us too strong...it was just that the belts were a unique type of spellpower, so that they would always be locked in for every DPS caster gearset, and no other (non-OP) caster belt could ever exist

The recent trend in set bonuses has been Armor, Head, Cloak, but the Mind Flayer set seems to have Armor, Bracer, Cloak.

Could it be that only the caster set has opened up possibilities for new combinations of puzzles?

Thankfully there's a small group of people who can datamine DDO to ensure stuff like this is fixed if SSG says it's fixed. That's how people figured this out so quickly. And it's how players know that cards of curse cleansing are insanely rare (5x rarer than a nebula frag).

Heroic Elite drop rates are only 10%, when they should be 33%. Normal, Hard and Reaper difficulties are working as expected. All Legendary drop rates are working as expected.

From what I heard, just these 3 new quests and Catastrophe; and the issue is only with heroic elite's rates. Hopefully SSG can chime in about it, as loot tends to be a sensitive issue all around for folks and clarification if it's bugged or working correctly to help prevent people risking shards on rerolls would be good.
