Well, looks like build diversity takes a step backwards again. They did so well with Vecna I had hopes, but nooo

Why can't they make all the armor have the same stats? Why is my spellsinger with 22 in Warchanter for Medium Armor penalized by losing spellcaster mods and getting melee mods instead? If that's not bad, I can't even just go with my class-granted proficiency of Light Armor and get spellcasting mods....as soon as I wear Light Armor, I lose spellcasting bonuses.

Without even looking at other items/slots, this expansion gearing is an F for punishing build diversity.

oh, that's what I get for assuming things after the legendary text were legendary, guess there's a ton more armor options, I stand corrected.

No fun for people with Legendary Raid Armor from other raids. You would think it would a no brainer to put those slots on existing raid armor to help sell the expansion\

Did these augments really need to be new slots instead of level 33 Purple and Orange Augments>?

Definately NOT getting the Ultimate Fan Bundle if SSG is just gonna waste my IoD grind with this.

A - entry means there is none pictured. There were a couple other missing SS that I just assumed were missed (like I think the heroic will augment wasn't pictured, but the epic was....there may be mistakes on my part as well. The most glaring omission was the Weapon Atk legendary augment

Should we view the changes from this update not as the removal of set bonuses, but rather as the ability to freely customize the set bonuses themselves?

what? Seems to me things are being blown up. Artifact and other boosts in a single slot (moon or sun). So that two 3 piece augments or double sets is now in a single piece.
And it's literally totally devalued all previous gear, include raid stuffs. Who need +3 profane well rounded from 5 gear piece if now it only one?! Why bother run H&H for 3 aug set for 10% to HP at ML30, if now you can get 20% at ML13?! Who need +2 Insight Spell Focus Mastery from raid ML27 gear, if now it available at non-raid ML13?!! Etc etc etc...

What's weed you're smoking, devs?! Stop it, it convert you in mindless slug! ?

Yeah! Good news for me, yet another update where I do not have to do gear re-planning, I think this makes 5 or 6 now that the gear just is not better for me. :)

I don't like this system. I think it would be far more understandable if the augments could go in any piece of gear with the matching color which I believe Sun = Yellow and Lunar = Blue for instance. When socketed, these could act like a single set bonus and shut down any existing set bonuses on the item. As is, it's a tough sell of 9 months worth of investment much less 18-24 month engagement in the next 2 expansions when the last 2 expansions sets felt a whole lot more open to customization and itemization. I was hoping for more augments as well such as +6 insightful stats, and +3 quality stats, and a vendor with +12 melee power since there is a vendor with +12 ranged power that is easily accessible. I think getting rid of the new socket types will provide much more mileage on this new augment system and make the gear more compelling. Myth Drannor is also a mythal so having the augments be something we can farm materials for and craft would make it compelling also.

Thanks for the work zavina. After a day of work I definitely don't want to hop on lam and look at each piece of gear lol. Plus I need to see them at a glance and compare and stuff. So much easier when someone's done it already!

Probably any update to my ranged toon full of IoD items and 2 piece set from RF (too poor for augments sets) but the idea is interesting for players who don't have legendary sets and build flexibility. Some interesting thing to experiment with my paladin with 2 fey sets

Breaking News: new loot is better than old loot. Film at 11.

Doubt that.
New gear is not breaking BiS gearing without combining a few of the weaker effects eg artifact hit and damage and profane hit and damage

Compare a set like Devils Infernal Dance
artifact primary stat
artifact con
artifact double strike
artifact fort bypass
artifact melee power

You would need 5 Sun items to replace 3 items even disregarding artifact rp/dshot (rip melee ranged hybrids) and the other artifact stats. If some pieces are individually strong they might make it in but most of the well designed gearsets will be staying with existing sets for now as they give more effects per item.
