Objective: This build is designed for a first life character to be competent in Reaper difficulty quests and raids at endgame. It has the following self-imposed limitations, similar to what you would experience when starting on the hardcore server:
  1. No more than one +2 attribute tome (1750 favor earned).
  2. No more than one +5 attribute tome (5000 favor earned).
  3. No reaper points spent.
  4. No raid gear, or any item that requires Threads of Fate or Commendations of Heroism.
  5. No rare Myth Drannor gear.
  6. No past lives.
  7. Any number of +3 skill tomes are permitted (saga rewards).
  8. All enhancement trees and epic destinies are permitted.
  9. The account has access to all adventure packs and expansion content.
  10. Remnant tomes +1 or +2 are permitted, as are long lasting remnant potions.
  11. Maximum sentient XP: 60k (7 filigree slots). No sentient weapon swaps.
  12. Maximum enhancements points spent: 80 (no tomes).
  13. Maximum epic destiny points spent: 69 (no tomes).
  14. 32-point builds are permitted (1750 favor earned).
  15. Does not use rare consumables that are only found randomly in chests, from daily dice rolls or otherwise have a limited supply within the game. Examples:
    1. Mana potions
    2. Radiant Forcefield potions/scrolls
    3. Long lasting USP/MP/RP potions
    4. Fireshield Cold/Fire potions
    5. Alchemical potions (Intimidate, +3 stats)
    6. Event cookies
    7. Scarab of Spell Absorption
  16. Epic and Legendary Ring of Spell Storing are permitted, as are Commendation of Valor potions, vendor spellpower potions and Yugo favor potions.
The build limitations come from a first life raid challenge Lava Divers ran last year, where we completed R5 Project Nemesis with 11 people.

With Warchanter's 4th core, you should have 2x charisma to temporary HP, not 20.

What about spells? How do you integrate spells into your build?
A full list of spells is included in the doc. It's mostly buffs and heals. I'll recast Divine Favor along with the trance as I'm moving to the next pack of mobs. Sonic Blast is the best box breaking spell in the game. Break Enchantment to dispel some environmental effects. Greater Dispel works against spell wards. Shadow Walk is underappreciated movement speed. Otto's Irresistable for reapers if your other CC is down.

Cure Critical self heals for 450-525, and I've only got 50 healing amp atm.

This build is excellent at L15. Especially the move speed. Very thoughtful. Got the free Ravenloft longsword, the Night Revels buckler and going to town on Night Revels. Thanks Ying!

I was going to run Tiefling Scoundrel for 3 lives for the movement speed bonus and this seems like a nice way to go at it. What weapon would you recommend at like lvl 4 or so and maybe again at 10-12 so I can start farming them up? Maybe a shield to if there is anything specific that's good for lvling

Many thanks for this build. I have a question though: is it possible to swap out two levels of Bard and put in rogue? Or is this impossibly problematic? I realize it means dropping the lvl18 core, but it gains Evasion and allows chest opening sans the bells. The purpose of the build is for Hardcore (Winter) and I mostly solo with a hireling. I do have access to PDK (I checked) and 32-pt build, but no tomes for a new Winter build. Even if acceptable, I also wonder about the leveling up order, and how badly this would impact it. I have no Epic building goals, so I'm not ultra worried about what happens beyond 20, if I am so fortunate as to get there.

I'd be getting rid of the FvS of course, but again, not sure how bad this is, since the FvS is only picked up at lvl17 in this guide, so I must assume the trance is meant to really help much later.
