Also finding concerning that the damage from Growing Dread doesn't scale with levels whatsoever, and is rather very front-loaded.

Looks interesting for warlocks, PMs and maybe DC sorcs. Will the shroud work with savant elemental form though? Please make it so :)

A minor complaint is that this is the first race to have several abilities that simply do not work if not paired with a specific class.

Didn't really math the numbers on the warlock abilities but they don't seem OP unless maybe at lower levels. Possibly on the weak side by end game. The vampiric blast is kinda useless?

On the theme of vampires, wouldn't this be a perfect time to reintroduce the iconic DnD SL4 spell Vampiric Touch? Grants temp hp scaling with spell level, but has to be used in touch range. Would give Wlk/Wiz/Sorc a fun active defensive mechanic. It's a bit similar to Dhampir Bite but that scales with MP so nobody is going to use that on a caster (and it also works for all races).

Cores: keep the sneak attack dice and negative amp, but change the +attack portion to +3/6/10 negative spellpower.

Why does Vampire Bite still scale with melee/ranged power on a warlock iconic? Negative or light/alignment spellpower makes more sense, or at least have the option.

Vampiric Blast is....meh? Focused blast is pretty bland and horribly inaccurate on moving targets. Could add in Enervating Shadow, to actually have a useful blast. If you're going to force the warlock out of an aoe blast, at least make the single target accurate.

Also, Lord Vampire form gets +10 spell penetration? That's extremely powerful.

When is a light/alignment 9% spell critical chance epic past life stance going to be added to support Dark Bargainer? That's quite the gap from elemental/sonic damage types, and warlocks are already mid for damage dealing at endgame in higher difficulties.

Legendary Selune's Light provides a 14% insightful bonus vs. the standard 5% insightful bonus most damage types get.

I don't think the 9% extra bonus is a coincidence as it matches the energy critical % exactly.

On the plus side it is great for people without the energy critical past life as they can get the 9% with gearing. On the negative side it's a mandatory gear slot requirement for those with it and on top of that it's a rare item which is hard to get. There is also an orb available, but it's not a very good option compared to other off-hand options.

I would like to see the energy criticals to include all types. but I am not sure how likely this is to happen.

When considering sneak dice vs imbue dice for a warlock, they're both limited. Imbue only matters if you go ES tree. Sneak will only matter if you do ES tree while meleeing/ranging or if you grab Paranoia from shadowdancer (which is kinda fun with warlock). So for a bunch of warlock builds, neither would do anything.
