Thanks for the embed. My Lamannia client install is bugged so I have to live vicariously for now, and I have to say if it looks as good in game as it looked in that snippet it will be great.

Why do most of the mounts HAVE to have saddles/bridles?

The gold-roll Nightmare does NOT need a saddle...nor does this Cloaker. It doesn’t need that “bridle,” either.

Took a look in game, it did live up to the video. Also a good mount for some of my characters who don't quite have an appropriate themed mount yet, since it's just cool, so definitely a design win in my opinion.

does it animate properly while in motion for halflings?

As the standing ride animation for halflings still has the errant keyframe (after all this time) and it glitches, to the point of headache inducing.
Not a good look for premium mounts.

It's just a single keyframe that needs deleting, or copy/pasting from the other end of the animation loop.

This is one of the best looking mounts in the game. It is way ahead of the fat dragons, and has some of best overall movement animations that I've seen with a mount. Gliding off the top of the mountain in the Vale was a marvelous site as it swooped down into the valley.
