I don't mind hires being on top of me, it means I can take a step back and mobs will hit them instead of me. I'm just in the habit of parking them when running up to levers/puzzles/chests and then unparking them afterwards.

I know right?! Hubby and I are always complaining about the Sharn construct hireling standing on top of us, getting in the way of levers and chests. Wish he would stand back at least five more paces.

I didn't really think about it, but YES! The shield defender is the worst offender of this! It's like having a 10 ft. tall overly curious kid that needs to see everything you're doing.

First why could you not left the true sight and just add the freedom of movement. Second will there be a 3rd prevue?

Just hand everyone a "you win" button. Why group with other players when you can trap, buff, and heal with heirlings ? It's getting ridiculous. Cut it out.

Fun ? Chatting? Sharing loot? Faster quest completions (split up, kill much faster)?

There's plenty of reasons to group with players even if hirelings can do their job. Because if hirelings can't do their job, then they are just useless and not worth summoning.

With primal's goodies and other hire boosts, they can get pretty beefy:

Looks like teal got out done . Melee barb with lower hp than a non-bear druid:(

I started using legendary Mycella and she is definitely my go to hireling now. Her + Rana are a great combo!

Finally got around to picking up Mycella and testing her on my pet focused Arti. Very beefy indeed.

That is a big problem with hires. They will get in your grill and mess with your targeting. It would be good if they stayed out of your bubble.

An arguably worse issue is when, despite being set to defend you, they will sometimes stand stock still as you take damage.

Mycella seems to be made of more responsive stuff based on what I'm seeing so far, but my comments are still with minimal experience.

She's pretty quick to sling healing spores every so often and I consider that a good thing. Not sure if that is so helpful right now since I'm playing warforged (does they even affect them)?!?
