Unable to buy DDO points

I have been trying unsuccessfully to purchase DDO points through the store for over a week, and have already missed several sales I wanted to take advantage of. I opened a ticket (313705), and was simply told to uninstall and then reinstall my game, then delete any listed payment methods and re-enter the information. I tried this many times, and it never works.

When I enter my credit card info, it saves it as a payment method, but does not allow me to then proceed with the purchase, it just takes me back to the "choose payment method" window. When I click on card, it asks me for my credit card info again, and then tells me that I've already got that saved as a payment method. But I cannot select the card I entered as a payment method at any point in the process. It also doesn't give me Steam Wallet as an option anymore, though it did before I uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

After several emails back and forth with Standing Stone and following all their instructions, the representative told me, essentially, "Try Paypal," (which I don't want to use), and "I'm sorry, I can't give you any more steps to fix this issue".

So I have come here for help, because I found that answer unsatisfactory, to say the least.

You will probably get the same error with PayPal. I am stuck with the same issue. I add a payment method, (CC or PayPal) and after that the payment just fail. I have also tried both in-game and out of game in Chrome and Edge. All the stuff they recomend.
I had some issues before the new store, but I allways found a way (PayPal saved me back then.). This time I am stuck though.

Out of curiosity, how old is your DDO account?

Fairly old at this point. My account profile says I made the account in 2009.

And yeah, I didn't want to use Paypal anyway, but I worry that anything else I try is going to have the same issues.

Ok, so here is the thing: I am from the EU and I made a DDO Unlimited account while the EU servers were still running. To do that I most likely had to set the wrong country on the account (US?). This is a known error. My problem is I cannot get support to check or at least confirm they have checked this error from their own knowledge base. All I get is canned "have you tried" answers.

Wonder if this is what your problem is as well. At least the error is the same.

Ok, so i finally got them to look at the country of my account. They fixed it, and now I can shop again.

It might be worth it to get them to check if you have the same issue. With the age of your account it is not unlikely that you might have been "creative" with your country when creating the account to get into DDO Unlimited.
 
It would seem that I had the same issue. I didn't get creative with my country when creating the account initially, but I did move out of the USA about two years ago. Never had an issue until they updated the store, but it seems to be working now after I got an email from Support saying they updated my country.
