It's madness thay can't fix your Monster Manual for so long !
So, I've asked some madness-specialists about your situation. The answer was, let me quote it, "It's too much. I must start over".
I don't belive you heard me stutter when I told you... PEANUT BUTTER!

If only they could have a known issues section where they list the things being worked on but isnt ready yet...

I get that perfectly, thank you. So lol back at you mate :)

It was obvious that the intim bug had to be fixed asap. All the other bugs I have read about are not major ones - while certainly annoying to those affected. Hopefully those bugs will be fixed next week.

But please list the bugs from MD you feel really needed fixing and why you think they are very high priority. That might be more constructive than a lol at me :)
Lol. You still don’t get it. The expansion is falling apart due to terrible drop rates. They have opportunities to acknowledge and fix it but they aren’t. I don’t care about usual bugs unless they affect the health of the game. This is greatly impacting the health of the game as new content should carry a player base. It doesn’t when items are unattainable. The artifacts are that. They could even keep the drop rates abysmal and add them to the saga end list as they have done for every expansion.

But hey “mate” you do you.

Monster Manual was stealth-fixed!!!

... and if you belive that, I have a bridge to sell you.

Still, it shall come to pass, for so it has been written!*

*By me, but hey, someone has to write these things.
And they put in On/Off toggles for ground effects and those annoying overhead notifications.

Shrug. Calling the low drop rates a bug is at best an unclear idea. It may very well be wai even if we dont like it.

I havent experienced it myself either. I seem to be getting the usual number of drops and I got the shield I wanted very fast. But I fully accept and understand that others have experienced it.

So, it may very well be true that the drop rates of certain rare items is negatively impacting the health of the game for a small subset of players but I doubt it is all-comsuming. I am guessing other things may infact have a larger impact in terms on number of people that feel negatively affected. I sure would not mind hearing what SSG has to say on the matter but getting all worked up and ready to set things on fire because it wasnt in the release notes a week after launch does not strike me as reasonable.

Some people don't need dungeons, gameplay or the game itself. All they need is the "dungeon" looked like an empty square room filled with items.
Why do they keeps playing ?

PS. During Lammania, everybody cried out loud about how bad the MD's loot is. And how they are not going to buy MD due to it's useless loot.
Now... We've got another cry about "low drop rates". ?
So, what do you actually want ? ? Make up your mind already. ?

PSS. "Dragonblood Prophecy" adventure pack released in 2017. It's 2024 now and I've yet to see any single named item from it !
And people are complaining about an expansion that's only a week old... ?

@Cordovan There have been several devs commenting since MD launch on non-WAI quest mechanics, were they unable to get fixes into the build in time?

We looted 500 end chests after rerolls. Guess how many artifacts we looted?

Zero

I’ve personally looted 5 items and 10 augments. I do not count fallen items as they are sentient trash. I’ve spent 1000 shards personally. As a group of three we hit 4k shards. Zero reaper drops for anyone (again outside of fallen weapons). I personally have no mythic drops. All quests were run r4-r10. No artifacts in saga rewards either.

I think I can safely say these rates are terrible, especially because no change was communicated to the player base and we expected at the minimum to have artifacts in the saga reward list as all other sets have done.

You are very likely correct. I do not doubt that drop rates are low - I was arguing that expecting a change to that a mere week after launch might be a bit optimistic. If artifacts do not drop - or drop extremely rarely - that is obviously not good for the game. Hopefully that will be adressed next week.

On an other note - spending that many shards makes me wonder if they come from purchases or from duping. Not saying or implying that you duped them but that someone might have. Thats bad for the game.

Further, spending that many shards on rerolls probably isnt the way to make SSG up drop rates. Possibly the opposite.

I have zero rerolls, maybe 30 chests, and 5 items and 3 augments personally looted which isnt bad. Maybe I got lucky. I do count the Fallen Tower Shield as loot as thats the one I specifically wanted.

This is the real problem.

If SSG sees terrible loot drops rates creating an increase in overall astral shard buying and spending, it will just incentivize them to do more of it. They are a business afterall.

It's too bad people can't reign in their need for immediate gratification and not do any chest rerolls the first few weeks of new content. If everyone did, it might incentivize SSG to do the opposite.

Personally, I'm not going to burn shards rerolling something with an already terrible chance to drop. I'll save shards for guaranteed rewards and/or at least reasonably good chances of success.

Knowing that now yes, but we assumed wrongly that these things had the same drop rate as the past. So really we were greatly mislead by no communication of the change by devs. And still they hide from a response.

Any chance the Update be including a fix for the Aspect Ratio bug?
I am not personally sure which bug you are referencing with this. When I log into the game I am not experiencing an issue with my aspect ratio nor its settings.
It's disappointing that you don't acknowledge known issues like cannith crafting not working with levels 33-34 in your release bulletin. Most companies do that. It demonstrates their committment to getting it resolved.
Cannith Crafting was not intended to be updated along with the level cap increase, but it is something we intend to do in the future.
