Hello, everyone!

We've got a first look at new Raid Loot this Preview! Everything that's currently planned for the Raid can be found in the Test Dojo vendor, including some base ingredients. Next to him, you'll notice a crafting altar. This altar can be used to:
  • Add your choice from a list of effects to weapons from this Raid that have the Sealed in Fire effect. Note that if you already have an effect you added via Sealed in Fire, adding another will remove the existing one.
  • Add your choice from a list of effects to accessories from this Raid that have the Sealed in Undeath effect. Note that if you already have an effect you added via Sealed in Fire, adding another will remove the existing one.
  • Upgrade certain Quest items (specifically Golden Age weapons, the three special Blades, and their associated armors) into more powerful Raid versions.
We're excited to hear your feedback on this new Raid loot! A few notes on feedback:
  • Strong feedback includes what you liked, what you would like to see changed, and ideally HOW you would like to see it change.
  • We will not be adding any items with both Sun AND Moon slots on them
  • We will not be adding Sun slots to any item slots that didn't already get Sun Slots in Myth Drannor
  • We will not be adding Moon slots to any item slots that didn't already get Moon Slots in Myth Drannor
  • We do not have art for weapons beyond what is already listed here, so adding any weapon types not already represented here is extremely unlikely at this time.
KNOWN ISSUES:
  • Breath of Vitality is granting a 24% Quality bonus to Spell Crit Chance, which is significantly too high - It should be between 6 and 8%.

Footfalls of the dracolich are a great step in the right direction for a tank artifact, and the effects are neat! Both artifacts are currently missing their third non-sun/moon augment slot to be in line with other artifacts.

With that said, the boot slot has literally the only MD accessory I'm excited to wear as a tank (the absorb boots)... It feels kind of bad that I have to make that tradeoff, and then equip other much less useful accessories to get sun/moon bonuses, rather than slotting the artifact in e.g. bracers, where there aren't a lot of great choices. As is, I'm not sure the bonuses (~1-3 prr/mrr and elusive target feat) are enough to justify boots artifact over ring artifact+absorb boots. Given how good the bracers options for the classes they're specialized in, would it be possible to move the tank artifact to the bracers slot (or necklace slot, to match the healer artifact, which is I think what I'd probably wear on my tank right now?)

Curious what the quality positive spell lore value is meant to be, as it is currently 24%, and I know that's not intended.

Looks like he updated the thread and added it to known issues. Regardless, my healers are building around that lol. Small numbers are huge, according to my wife.

you can craft absorb on rings or shields to swap in as needed. absorb boots don't excite me.

With 2 throwing weapons in the raid I would like to see a specialist offhand weapon for throwers - most of the current affects dont work for throwers.

Palisade is not accepted by the ritual table even though it has sealed in fire on it? also only has 2 effects + sealed in fire not 3?

The Nameless One

What can change the nature of a man ?
Can we, once again, get a full loot list for those that do not have access to Lam. Thank you.

Again, this is my deciding factor whether or not I actually buy this xpansion.

6-8% is good. I will be building around that as well.

The golden age upgrade weapons are interesting - dripping in magma for everyone! However, the lack of any dr bypass traits on them is a little tough to justify. The raid weapons usually bypass adamantine which is is an easier sell.

I assume the scimitar is meant to be the only item with a set bonus? Looks strong for a dual wield scimitar build if you can grab a pair.

The shield looks like a strict downgrade on the rare drops in the quests - guardbreaking, shield bash, lots of nice effects on those and all this has as an upside is the extra craftable ability?

The weapons are all nice. The falchion is particularly awesome, including the sacred feat damage bonus and favoured weapon.

I like the boots as a tank item, and they are quite general purpose as an artefact which is nice for quite a few builds if they wanted to skip the rings. You are losing an augment slot on these raid artefacts atm, which is a bit harsh.

With Sovereign Vorpal, a sacred damage bonus, and even a Favored Weapon designation, the falchion is more powerful than other weapons on the list, such as the rapier. I'm partial to rapiers; could you reconsider the effects on the rapier? Maybe a Blunt Trauma/Elasticity multiplier bonus on 19-20 for piercing weapons?

Rapier supposedly has a hidden critical multiplier in testing.

Adamantine material type NOT added. Same with Finality and I'm guessing any other weapon with Flamsescale as a power.
