Wow! Feel so heard right now, these items are amazing and super customizable.
More +'s = more I like it :p
+++ 5 Filigree* slot artifacts!!! :O (tell me we can get 5 slots on other gear too? :p)
+++ choice of LGS upgrade
+++ choice of upgrade to item to any ability score (+15 enhancement, +7 insightful or +3 quality)
+++ ability to get any Golden Age weapon and put a LGS debuff on it
+++ Kukri with Guardbreaking! I love it. No longer restricted to an outdated rapier or shields. I'll probably use this on my Runearm swashbuckler
+++ Shortsword with neg drain & Slay Living. I need this!
++ Favored Weapon Falchion
++ Pact Die improvement bracers
++ A good non-chaotic bow! Finally Paladin Archers will come to light?
+ 19-20 range on the orb
+ 19-20/x3 crit threshold on the Large Shield

You have just opened up many of my abnormal jank builds to be so much cooler!

Suggestions for Improvements:
  • Palisade (Large Shield) probably needs a bit of a tweak, 10 charges of curse absorption feels a bit underwhelming, seeing as Heart of Suuly straight up gives immunity.
  • Red Wizard's Sight - Consider changing the Kinetic Lore bonus on this item to something else. There is also Kinetic Lore on the Bracers here
Bugs:
  • Cannot put Brimstone (orb) or Palisade (shield) into the Ritual Table
  • Death's Deferral only has 1 charge for the Death Ward, Mass clicky. Guessing this is meant to be 3?
  • (potential?) Footfalls and Breath of Vitality, seems to be missing their Blue Augment slot (Minor Artifact)
  • Adding LGS Affirmation in the Ritual Table instead applies Dust
  • Upgrading Spur, the Claw of Death removes the existing Legendary Salt effect on it
  • The Echo of Warblade, Artblade and Crownblade don't upgrade, but the Shocking, Fiery & Freezing longswords do? Feel like the wrong ones upgrade here.
  • Dequipping a weapon with a LGS effect makes it disappear, and stays gone even when re-equipped.
Edit: more bugs

the shield AND orb have the fire upgrade but the altar rejects them. the kama with salt gets it removed by the altar when picking something else?

I've never used Lam before today, didn't know how it worked, and didn't know how to access it. I typed into Google "How to DDO Lamannia" and the first link was "How to Access Lamannia | Dungeons & Dragons Online Forums. The second link was the DDO wiki page for Lamannia. About 10 minutes later I was logged in and in the test dojo.

Lam IS that "EZ." You live in a world where you have instant access at the tip of your fingers to whatever information you desire. It's only difficult if if you don't have the initiative to learn new concepts.
It's not. I know a lot of people have this notion that "wel it works for me, why not you???" but it doesn't work for everyone.

I love this game. I just want to know what's happening.

ok, I just went to Lam and tried making a new set of Handwraps (gold age), since I see there is no specific Raid Item for Handwraps.

positives:
Dripping with Magma is nice...not as good as it was, but nice (with an exception below)
I like that you can add LGS. nice touch
Sov. Vorpal. Thats kinda nice
base damage up about 5%

Negatives:
I just lost 3 wisdom (2 from IOD crafting, 1 from curse...not cheap)
Alot more things immune to Fire, so Dripping with Magma is now just so-so
Farming specific Golden Age weapons with current loot drop rates at what 1%? (can we now buy this with raid runes??)

Need to:
let us buy golden age weapons via some method (for items that are not available in the Raid)
have more options vs. just Dripping with Magma
add one more way to get our lost exceptional abilities added (like IOD)

Make it better vs. just slightly better

The last patch added vendors that lets you trade golden age weapons at ratio of 2-to-1 to the weapon type of your choice (there's also a trade option at 2-to-1 for fallen age weapons).

The exception being shields (edit: and armor), so still requires farming the certain quest to find it. As a group of 6, we've run Portal to Below probably 40+ times and still haven't seen one drop.

Yeah, it's just the weapon suite stuff for trade (and the fallen/golden age weapons are their own loot table that can drop independently of the named items- even then, I've barely seen any golden aged weapons for anyone in any party). The named rares (like the golden age shield) are horribly low RNG odds; I'm there with you, could spend ages farming and never see one.

Pretty niche list, missing some basic and common-build weapons. Guess most will have to upgrade Golden.

you can craft absorb on rings or shields to swap in as needed. absorb boots don't excite me.
Swapping sounds like hard work, and lag contributing.

It's hard enough to get pugs to swap in elec absorb for MA, let alone anything else.

The quality of the falchion is excellent!
I hope it gets implemented as is.

With this, we can create a Paladin build that isn't limited by race.

Falchion bug:
After attaching and equipping the Legendary Salt, unequipping the Falchion causes the Legendary Salt to disappear.

Loot looks good overall is just going to take us 3 years to get ingredients and name items if the drop rates are so lackluster like the MD drop rates. Next time you want ppl to not get some named items please better don't put them in the game. Better put them to buy with runes and I am talking about cloaks and helms that drop in the slayer area in Dragon and worm chest. If next pack are with those drop rates I will not be supporting them.

Hello, everyone!

We've got a first look at new Raid Loot this Preview! Everything that's currently planned for the Raid can be found in the Test Dojo vendor, including some base ingredients. Next to him, you'll notice a crafting altar. This altar can be used to:
  • Add your choice from a list of effects to weapons from this Raid that have the Sealed in Fire effect. Note that if you already have an effect you added via Sealed in Fire, adding another will remove the existing one.
  • Add your choice from a list of effects to accessories from this Raid that have the Sealed in Undeath effect. Note that if you already have an effect you added via Sealed in Fire, adding another will remove the existing one.
  • Upgrade certain Quest items (specifically Golden Age weapons, the three special Blades, and their associated armors) into more powerful Raid versions.
We're excited to hear your feedback on this new Raid loot! A few notes on feedback:
  • Strong feedback includes what you liked, what you would like to see changed, and ideally HOW you would like to see it change.
  • We will not be adding any items with both Sun AND Moon slots on them
  • We will not be adding Sun slots to any item slots that didn't already get Sun Slots in Myth Drannor
  • We will not be adding Moon slots to any item slots that didn't already get Moon Slots in Myth Drannor
  • We do not have art for weapons beyond what is already listed here, so adding any weapon types not already represented here is extremely unlikely at this time.
KNOWN ISSUES:
  • Breath of Vitality is granting a 24% Quality bonus to Spell Crit Chance, which is significantly too high - It should be between 6 and 8%.
Just want to confirm if all gears will retain Mythic and Reaper bonuses after upgraded from the ritual table?

warblade armors should give profane sneak dice instead of a on-hit temp hp.
Yes they should, either that or some other unique dps increasing effect to make then a competitive option and a cool, desirable item. It's an raid upgrade of a rare item, it actually should be an upgrade from dino armor.

Making the reflection armors of (crownblade/art/war) removed any curses and reaper bonuses I had on stuff. I assume the weapon ones will be the same issue as they're replacing the items with better versions.

The sealed in fire/temperance of spirit slots for adding LGS effects/stats are probably okay for retaining mythic/reaper bonuses; but I don't have an easy piece of gear to test with. Could probably move some reaper frags over to lam to test that.

Just tested this. Edit - didn't notice that you already tested armours, sorry.

Armour looses reaper boost (same issue as always, it removes the old item and provides a new replacement item instead of just adding effects).

Weapons I tried were not recognized by the reaper upgrade system, and offhands can't be upgraded in the altar so I didn't test those.

Can insightful Radiance and Void lore be added to the upgrade options? (maybe insightful kinetic lore too - force crit chance potential is far below the other elements)
Making another necro/neg caster item which conflicts with Legendary Stygian Wrath just means the item will pretty consistently be sentient food.

Assuming the normal rules of the previous upgrade system, 'Sealed in Fire' should be replaced by the newly added 'Legendary Salt' or similar.
However, upon checking the upgraded items, 'Sealed in Fire' hasn't been removed.

It might be that the weapon upgrade is actually a replacement rather than an upgrade.
