Any info on that chest somewhat near the falling ring optional chest in Fetid Wedding that can't be picked or unlocked in any way? Didn't see anything in the release notes and I'm just curious if that's an unintentional chest yet to be removed or if there's something we've not yet figured out.

We have a new Known Issue we are working to correct in the next possible game update: Some random loot above level 30 has lost its item power and is showing level 1 values for its effects.

There is also the graphic glitch at that chest. If stand away from chest and rocks and look at chest, they all disappear.

It’s a very buggy chest which shot you to the sky.
But managed to loot the opt chest couple times by falling across the rings

There 2 chests there. One with the rings to remove the shield and unlock. And another chest right around the corner that doesn't appear to have any way to unlock/open.

I'm assuming we are tracking that the quest "A Blood Pact" is unable to be progressed right? Hoping for a hotfix or something ready for the next maintenance.

It's unlockable now. I just lock picked it.

Greetings! I wanted to apologize about the release notes this cycle. We had some rough handoffs of known issues and release notes across this follow-up patch, which resulted in some things either not getting highlighted as being known issues, and/or not making it into the final version of the release notes while we preparing for/returning from Gencon. We'll be putting in some extra guard rails in our processes to avoid this in the future. Very sorry for the confusion, and thanks for your patience!

This isn't a one-off thing. This has happened multiple times in the past; incomplete patch notes, things that have to be added or changed later.

If they were known issues, then why push a patch out where it was known things would break? Why have to state a hotfix is coming, when there shouldn't have needed to be a hotfix in the first place?

You also have devs commenting on the boards about needing to investigate issues, that sure doesn't sound like to me that they were known issues, it sounds like the dev team didn't bother to test things, broke stuff, and are now scrambling to fix it. If another post I've read recently about Demon in the Rough is true, things that were supposed to be fixed weren't.

Honestly, this all reeks of "we dun goof'd, and now we're covering our butts by saying we knew this stuff was broken ahead of time, and if you ran into one of these issues before we could tell you about it, well, our bad." Something... something... the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing... something... something.

Why have a QA team when the player base will do the job for free, I guess. But hey, we got a deformed meme pet out of it, so I suppose it ain't all bad. 🙄

I've suggested a "Communications Czar" to Turbine and SSG several times in the past. I've also said getting all the communications (including patch notes) straightened out between the various teams would be a large part of their job.

Clearly, at least one hand doesn't know what the other hands are doing because it sure seems like either some folks aren't documenting their changes well or they're not communicating those changes to the person acting as the compiler of those changes for release notes.

There is also the problem of some SSG team members using Discord to communicate changes (official or otherwise) instead of using the Forums to do so. Using Discord is fine, but all official changes and other official matters communicated with all customers should ALSO be posted in the Official DDO Forums. A lot of people use Discord and a lot of people use the Forums, but not as many use both.

@Tolero Your guardrails should include someone who is good at communication between your team members and also with the DDO community.

For me that is the reason for the misques. So I give a free pass. Others however are not so forgiving.

Demon in the Rough fix didn't seem to take, it just bugged out on me because I talked to the wrong dwarf first, did not complete at the end after destroying the gem.

Maybe don't schedule a big content release right before you know a good portion of your team is going to be AFK due to a convention?
