How does teleport work now that all locations are available with any teleport item. If you don't buy ultimate is that location not enabled on the list? I purchased all the current ones so I can't test myself.

You can select any destination, but it won't teleport you there unless you own the bundle with the teleport item included.

Apparently an issue with ordering if you have multiple cards registered and want to switch from the default leads to the page that the order can't be completed. I deleted all but one card and was able to purchase ...

But .. while steed and pets were added, along with +10 Shared bank, the character bank slots were not added, nor the tomes. No idea how to get the remaining items unless it will be a vendor you have to talk to in-game like the Isle of Dread was handled.

A few questions:

1. Why doesn't the store page advertise the VIP 10% discount? That's a major thing you're doing with mini-expansions and should be highlighted every time (especially given that VIP needs more benefits, so why not drive home the benefits it does have).

2. Does this include a new Wilderness? This isn't clear on the store page.

3. Is the Sentient Jewel 1/char or 1/account?

4. How many quests are in the Vecna Unleashed content?

Hmmm .. there is the field for the Sec code that must be entered on the purchase page and the other check box but assume you did those. I deleted the other cards, went back to main page and restarted the purchase process. It is just more than a tad irritating that the purchase process has issues like this. Of all the things that should never have a problem is processing a purchase.

Errrr.... they do.

Standard: Quests, Monster Manual 9, Machrotechnic. No cosmetics.
Collector's (+$40): Standard + Heroic Wererat Hireling & Cosmetics
Ultimate (+$40): Collector's + AP tome, Legendary Wererat Hireling, 20 Character Bank slots, 10 Account Bank slots, Teleport & Cosmetics

Like you, I don't care about the cosmetics (and once you have ONE pet/mount/sentient jewel, the different kinds are just cosmetics), and thus wouldn't pay an extra $40 for just a Heroic Wererat Hireling in the Collector's bundle, but there is A LOT more than that in the ultimate bundle. Legendary Wererat basically means you can find every secret door, disarm every trap, and pick every lock in the game. More APs means more builds are viable. Bank slots are ALWAYS in short supply. Teleports cut down on travel times. All good things. More than happy to give the game an extra $80 for the value those add and to keep them in business.

That is the rub. I want the +AP tome but nothing else in that Ultimate pack that I cannot get from the Standard pack.

The Hierling, meh. If they were useful outside of the skill aspect in anything other than Normal or Hard, I might feel different. But they aren't so I don't.

I play 4 or 5 characters. I have 24 character slots. If I cannot manage inventory with 20 mules, then I need to clean out old and useless stuff. i.e. I don't need or want the extra space.

Teleports are just that, convenience. I am just fine spending the extra 30s to run to the area.

I want a reason to be happy and give them the extra money for the Ultimate pack. I just don't want to do it for ONLY +1 AP tomes.

1. I'm VIP but am not seeing the bonus while logged in to the store page.

I'm not going to lie; every time we get delayed/partial releases for paid content it is neither a good look for SSG as a company, nor is it a good incentive for us as customers to purchase before the entirety of the content is released. Sometimes delaying releases and or announcements of a product are a good thing.

For the VIP discount, maybe you can amend the expansion purchase site to include it in one of the dropdown items? I remember SSG did this for the BtS mini-expac for LOTRO (after the fact).

No Wilderness is disappointing, but 13 quests is better than Saltmarsh. Looking forward to playing them.

SSG get your store purchase [expletive] together.
How in the ell do you continue to have issues with customers competing purchase transactions.
Players are basically standing there with cash in hand and the BS interface wont process transactions..
Discord is filling up with players stuck unable to complete transactions..

On file card.. doesnt work.. works fine in the in game store..
Paypal doesnt work.. pops up with an error about selecting which pack to purchase after all that has been selected and there is no option to continue.
I ended up adding another card never used in DDO before to finally get the process to work...

Taking peoples money should be the easiest most seamless hassle free process...

Re: VIP, the discount shows up when you go through to payment. I've confirmed this. Basically you find out after you'd already planned to go through with the purchase (which is why it needs to be advertises more clearly on the product page).

Release on August 16th. So when I'll be in the middle of my first Baldur's Gate 3 playthrough. I see no reason to pre-purchase it then if I am going to be busy with BG3 for some time and maybe with Starfield later. You've dropped the ball releasing this expansion between two biggest cRPG's of this year, especially since one of them is also on D&D license.

You've clarified above that the sentient gem is one per character - can you confirm if the Universal AP tomes are the same (ie. One per Character)? If so, you've got my money!

So, cant get passed the payment page to be accepted as completed, removed all other forms of payment and re-entered the current one, tried my other accounts as well, full reboot of pc and tried another browser, if you want us to buy this then you will have to get a decent payment system as the current one is not fit for purpose. Have bought all top tier packs for my 3 accounts now but this one isnt capable.
