VIP electric trail - please refine it

The VIP electric trail could use some refinement, please.
It needs turning down,- the V shape it's generated from needs to be from an area & not two lines in the V shape, it looks cheap & ugly, and the trail is too intense & on my monk feels like a Tron cycle trail and nothing like the promo pic for it

It does seem they forgot to adjust it for wolf forms though. While a wolf, it still spawns as if from a biped, and thus there is an unnaturally hard edge on it where it spawns above the wolfs back.

I spoke to the VIP vendor in the Hall of Heroes, but I can't seem to figure out how to turn it on.

I can't find it in my Feat or Enhancement lists. It's not in any of my Inventories, Mount list, or in my Companion Stable.

Where is it??

You need to talk to him again and click i need help help with something else and then click on vip cosmetic then you click on lightning trail. Lots of clicking but it will then be in your feat section.

Yeah, it's not very clear.

The first time you talk to him, it just unlocks it on your account. Then you have to talk to him again to actually pick up the feat on that specific character (ask about something else, then cosmetics, then you can actually claim the lightning trail)

Drag the feat to your hotbar and toggle it on. Do this on each character. The dialog options confuses some folks, so hopefully this helps.

I'm not sure what anyone in my group thinks. Possibly they're not commenting out of politeness.

But it works well with lightning coming out my behind while I use Bear Charge to leap ahead. It really works in so many ways. I can even stop going on about my MM for a minu... drat, failed again. But anyway, fun :)

The vibe I get from DDO is 'never encourage the bastards' when it comes to making any changes based on feedback. They'd rather burn in hell kinda vibes.

I wasn't even going to look at it, but now that I know I can have a Tron lightcycle trail, I will check it out.

That was my immediate reaction. I don't usually pay attention to cosmetics, but a Tron lightcycle trail sounds amazing.

I think it looks good enough.

But I'm sure it's bugged for certain forms, such as Druid animals, and I think it's paramount that those be fixed.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Let's not forget that lightning farting bears are an integral part of D&D lore. Let's not mess with that. 🤣
