vistani knife training tier 1 breaking crit multiplier?

Just like the title states. Can someone explain to my as to why tier 1 "vistani knife training" (points daggers down), breaks any tier 5 crit multiplier on a 19-20? Tested this out and finally figured out as to why I wasn't getting the extra multiplier. When I redid my enhancements, i skipped tier 1 and whala.....i gained my multiplier. I took overwhelming critical......that's 1 crit multiplier, as well as "nature's fury (tier 5 in Fury ED). When taking tier 1 in vistani....I only received 1 multiplier....when skipped, I had 2. Can someone explain if it is working as intended?

You sure you're just not failing your confirmation roll after rolling a crit ranged hit? Or are you seeing the crit but wrong multiplier?

when looking at the character sheet, the display showed 1 while i should have had 2 until I took away tier 1 in vistani knife training.

Look at actual combat log stuff to check; character sheet displays can be wrong.
