Volcanic coffer…….wishful thinking

Too bad the base coffer only offers weapon and pet.
I don't care about cosmetic pets that much.
And the weapon skin being an axe, who uses greataxes these days? (Afaik weapon skins are restricted by combat style and greataxe skin won't show when you are using a falchion).
I would like to get at least the armor, but as of now I don't have enough DDO points for mid coffer, and I don't have means to buy them in my region, so I guess I have to pass.

For the price of these coffers, they should offer cosmetic weapons for every weapon in the game.

I don't care about the price; if there are people who want to pay for this, go ahead. It's better to monetize cosmetics than jeweler kits and many other things they're abusing. What bothers me is that they don't sell enough storage, and then they put it in these coffers. If there were more storage for sale, these coffers would seem great to me. Since they limit the storage so they can sell it at overpriced prices in these coffers, those don't seem so good to me.

Otherwise, if anyone wants to buy them, great. They're not my cup of tea.

Selling extra storage is exploiting player's hoarding disorder.
I have a lot of items that I have never used for years, and the only reason to keep them is "I might need these in the future".
Yet ongoing power creep only diminishes the chances of ever using older items.

Hey, if people wanna buy em, go ahead. Personally, I dont buy cosmetics, but I just saw someone with it on and its decent. Again, not going to take money out of my wallet for it.

My problem is the Steed (horse again) and the 2 hander cosmetic which does not work if you have a for example a falchion in your hand. For 8k DDO points every coffer should have izs own unique mount and a universally useful weapon cosmetic. Why there isnt a ranged, a 1 hander a 2 hander in the box?
There is no way I would spend 8k for another re-themes horse when the player baae has benn asking for chipmunk/iron defenser/etc mounts for years.

The coffer is just a reskinned flaming horse, metal siren, and Warduke armor. Basically they are trying to convince you that for 7k pts you are getting some sort of value. Do not worry about the poor game performance since the switch to 64-bit, we are allowing you to buy 10 more bank slots for one char and 20 account bank slots, all for 7k points!

<clicks to buy which give me the right to grumble>

As a side note, I've never meet a person in the game, using something from any of the coffers. ;)
I've seen loads of people with items from the underdark one and a few with the shadow dragon one that I forget the name of. Oh and one guy with the mechanical one.

maybe if they said "100% of the proceeds are going to the anti lag fund" but for now i dont see any reason to give them money

I have whatever the max bank space in, and I finally reached the point as of the +60 bank space addition for transfers where at the start of each life I transfer ~320 BTC items from my cache to my character bank and don't have to think about it.

The storage spaces don't do much for me, but personally I've enjoyed making a character themed around each cosmetic set as they've come out. I do wish they'd either stop being greataxes or they'd release a feat or something to make greataxes a bit better for the typical build.

I'm glad it's making money for them, but personally I get at least 3k favor a life, do more than 10 reincarnations every ~3 months, and have purchased pretty much everything I need already in the past, so I buy these with house money. I wouldn't be opposed to them trying a more frequent schedule and maybe testing if they still have the sales rates they want with only cosmetics and no QOL included.

I wouldn't mind supporting the game more, but I have like 50k DDO points despite having bought none in the last year or two, and I don't have any interest in astral sharding for rare loot, so it's becoming a bit more difficult to get money out of the super long term people who still try to play a lot and happily buy these.

Meh, the timing and the price just shows how bad the server transition and lag have been for the game, and instead on focusing on that as well as apologizing / attracting back players with compensations and tangible giveaways, they're trying to pad the numbers with short-term gains and pretend nothing is happening.
