W T F is up with CAPTCHA?

Are we refining AI to recognize Fire Hydrants, Buses, Cars, Crosswalks, and Motocycles/Bicycles? Or are we helping the [failing] Autonomous Vehicles?

When I clicked on Help, after failing multiple captcha "requests," I was told I had an "unnatural trend pattern."

Who's training who?
CAPTCHA is SUS, big time, considering dubious people create junk accounts to advertise "OTTOS BOXES"

Oh, I can go on for an hour!

BleachBit runs on my PC every night at 3am then it shuts down so I have to go through the captha nightmare everywhere I want to login.

I simply love the way this software cannot differentiate between a moped, bicycle and an actual motorcycle. Then says "ok, let's try again. Spot the buses" and shows you an intentionally pixelated 1x1 inch image of a 2 mile stretch of a highway that may or may not have a bus while asking for buses.

The bicycles. "Is that the tiny end of a peddle sticking out on the left? Should I click that?".

There's a whole new Dilbert comic strip that can be made out of CAPTHCA.

I just want to login and comment. Why is it so hard?

Hopefully SSG gets kick-back from CAPTCHA. as I've regularly "failed" 10+ "CAPTCHA requests,"

And how are OTTO BOXER SPAMMERS able to regularly post in game?

The first thing you should do is try a different browser. Some captchas simply refuse to work correctly in some browsers.

Kind of ironic that CAPCHA masquerades as a defense against bots while its known true purpose is to have humans move their mouse around so they can learn to mimic humans.

today's AI is so smart nowadays. If it cannot distinguish the CAPTCHA it will ask a human person to help it. It pretends to be a blind person and asked kindly for help.

I just post a question to my AI CLI: hey, help me to look at the review comments in my MR <URL> and apply or implement the review comments in branch <BRANCH> of the code, given the <CI access Token>. And it did it. I was so surprised. Very soon we'll all be out of jobs.

I found that AI cannot do:

  1. It cannot attend meetings for you
  2. It cannot contact developers or product managers for you to tell them, hey there is an issue here. Of course, it won't be able to call and answer phone calls for you.
  3. It's a good assistant, but sometimes I found it to be scary enough to be too good. It won't be able to conference in your offshore team members to work on this, that or that per the project needs for the day, week or month.
  4. It won't be able to conduct your sprint planning, retro, or etc. that needs human beings.
  5. It cannot work on your behalf while you're on vacation and look at JIRA tickets automatically.
  6. It cannot file defects on your behalf while you're on PTO.
  7. It cannot automatically play DDO for you, find and fix all the bugs in DDO without human intervention; and of course, it won't be able to buy the cheap internet Otto boxes for your characters and automatically level your characters to triple completionist everything.
It's a good tool and increases your productivity many fold like a computer does back in the 90s, but sometimes too scary that it "knows" things.

Maybe you are a robot.
Bee BOO, Ratchet this.
I was literally prompted 10 + times to define the objects in question. What service does DDO use for their forums?
Or has CAPPTCHA gone rogue?
[yes, I relize 10 is a theme but it may have been 14]
I am willing to bet this MMO doesn't host it's own forums, unlike the days of olde.
