Warforged Sacred Fist

Now that I have a few Racial AP and with the changes to Handwraps, I am trying a Warforged Sacred Fist build.

Unarmed Strike which SF and Monk gets every 4 levels including level 1 (so 6 times)...is +30 Melee Power

CHR will have a penalty, but I will be getting +15 Melee Power from Memories of the Last War/ Front Lines.

I will be taking this enhancement pretty early on.

Also the 2 main direct DPS spells are Incinerating Wave and Ki Blast do not have Saves, so the CHR isn't as big of a deal as I thought.

As I am leveling, I am putting 100% of my AP into SF. I will start putting some into Defender for PRR/MRR and extra LoH too.

Eventually I will be taking Memories of the Last War/ Spellcarved Soldier for 8AC and 8PRR. And also I will grab Weapon Attachment for a measly 1 AP too.

Eventually I will have Haste Boost from Vistani and DEX trance from Horizon Walker, or I may forgo Horizon Walker to go deeper into other trees, I will see how it plays out.

I will be going Pure offense early on, until mid heroic, where I will dip for more LoH from Defender.

Feats:
1 TWF
3 Precision
6 ITWF
9 Imp Crit
12 Quicken
15 GTWF
18 Plowshares
21 Overwhelming Crit
Unsure past this, I just generally scroll through looking at stuff

Gear:

1-4> Random Stuff/CC Crafted
5>14 Feywild + Ik Thanor Ring and the Ki Necklace from Chronoscope and Perfect Pinnacle
15>29 Heroic Sharn while mixing in some Stat items Part of the Family Set

Weapons>
1-5 will be Cannith Crafted
6 Devotion from Delera's and swapping back and forth with CC crafted
10 Ravenloft Handwraps
14 Adamantine Wraps from GH
20 Epic Crocodile or may stick with the GH Wraps
25 Epic GH Wraps
29 Ravenloft for Undead, and Syrnian for Constructs
31 Bladed Wraps or will probably craft some Dino Bone

So far, i am level 7...its been a Breeze so far. That isn't shocking, but its been extra easy.

Will keep this updated!

I was thinking about trying a Bladeforged Sacred Fist (using the auto-gifted lesser heart to change to Sacred Fist) just for funsies.
Im currently doing a 14 sacred fist, 5 dragonlord, 1 monk bladeforged with handwraps to take advantage of the recent unarmed MP buff. It is pretty good.
No-blades'forged?

I did a 15>30 as regular 2HF Paladin and then 20>30 as a Sacred Fist Bladeforged...
A breeze! Though I used a Quarterstaff and went with Strikethrough.
You will have fun with it for sure.

I've done CitW a lot and never gotten Antipode :(

I will try to farm out those Kinesis though. Those look like.

I plan on a few Sacred Fists lives and Monk lives for the Heroic Past Lives. I need 2 of each. Might try Dragon Disciple tpp eventually.

I really enjoy the Handwraps playstyle and animations.
what is tpp?

Update:
About to hit 20.
Super tanky and fast at running. DPS isn't sorceror fast, but have soloed R4s here and there when I want a challenge.
Its been great so far.
Will update Epics and then Legendaries.

At mid epics now.
It's very durable.
With Paladin Saves, Evasion, and Warforged Immunities, it's tough.
I am curious how at higher reaper once I am doing legendary quests; how the robes/composite MRR cap will work out.

It's not the robes/composite that was the issue, it is other play styles kill vengeance reapers first and SF doesn't have the mobility to escape, ranged option, and AoE CC to not get gibbed, especially if you just pulled all aggro on yourself to tank. I mean, with EA wings and draconic mantle on ki bolt you could make it work, and a 1/1 trance and monk stance splash, but pure monk at that point is just the same playstyle but better.

Yeah, it's super fun, but I can see it's weaknesses. Using it to farm elite at cap to get some gear.
I will have fun with it, but I am unsure how much effort/gear I should put into it

Going to get back to this build because it was a lot of fun.
Though I am unsure of the 3 EDs I should use.
In past I did GMOF and LD and Divine Crusader though I played around with others as the third.
Definitely using Fury for Quick Cutter and some double strike stuff.
Was thinking about the other two now.
Thinking Fury and LD and Divine Crusader for the Smite stuff.
I'll do some testing and report back.
Thinking it will be a week or 2 though.
My main plan is to use Incinerating Wave, Ki Blast and Quick Cutter.
Also I will probably have Crusade Epic strike available too?
But mainly want to use LD as my main ED.
Anyone else have input?

Could mix it into a bit of a sturdy dps debuffer, 15 SF/3 monk/2 warlock, and be only 5MP down (or go 14/4/2 if you don't need zeal and not loose any MP).

Could be wisdom based and leverage the trance from heshin, same penalty as cha on WF but what can you do

I'm playing a SF right now, my intention was to be a pure turning build but sacred fist are actually worse at turning because they lack knight of the chalice bonuses to turning (and healing amplification). They are also worse at DPS because they lack "ascendancy" not to mention having to multiclass for "trance". Generally speaking, I think they are worse paladins and worse monks and worse healers.

But they are so freaking cool and fast so I'm not giving up hope yet.

In epic I ignored t5 in sf and went t5 in defender instead. In low reaper the extra hp and quick cutter keep me up but at cap I think I'll be useless.

Destinies I am using quick cutter strike, angelic mantle (wrath) using ki spells to keep it up (but heals to proc it, there's some bug going on there). Tier 5 has to be crusader though for the +1d6 damage per level for the law feat.

edit: drow (no racial ap) SF 18/cleric 2 (for domain fire to turn elementals)

I am trying Pure for bigger Ki Spells and hoping Ki Spells plus Quick Cutter can AOE pretty fast in epics/at cap.
I was thinking about trying to put a little AP into Radiant Servant for the Healing Burst from Turns. Unsure how good it will work.

I did a SF 14/DL5/MNK1 recently and it did really well.
Also did a DL12/MNK4/SF4 and it was super solid too.
Just wanting to see how SF works with me knowing Epic levels better and EDs better.

Rerunning this build with better gear and more Racial AP.
At level 15 now. Its been a breeze and if you get into that WF Tree Melee Power early, it super helpful and Incinerating Wave either one shots groups of trash or sets it up for Wave>Cleave (from the tree) to clear trash really quickly.
I like this build a lot for learning new quests because if I mess up and set off a trap, I usually evade it or if I jump into a fight and underestimate it, LoH can really save you.
Also on my many Monk lives the most dangerous thing has been Cruelty Champions that cast multiple ray spells like those Water Elementals. With this, you can LoH to save your self.
I do think a Pure Monk is way DPS by a good amount, but I think with the spells, SF is nice at clearing trash in Heroics.
I am super curious how iWave and KiBlast will scale into Epics. Last time I did this build I was more terrible at Epics than I am currently.
