What corporate unbrella are those games under, you may want to know that before you get invested in any of the games.Come on people lets be easy now.. Remember what was said in a post from.. I wont say who.... basically saying from the test day they had on Cormyr " We gathered a bunch of data " ..
I am wondering how awesome this data collection was that will help enhance and optimize servers?
Continual carrot in front of the horse, not me though.
Enjoying Diablo 4.. Path of Exile 2 coming out in a few weeks.
I recently gave 1 a go it was kinda fun. Also trying out Throne and Liberty but that's really weirdLet us know when poe 2 hits
How far along did you get? I stopped at tier6 maps because inventory space breaks down. i didn't get any tabs yetSlamming through PoE currently, great f2p game
Old players will remember this is exactly what happened when we had epic orchard of the macabre, whole game was down for two-three days. This is just one server and specifically a vip-only server so it doesn't affect everyone. But it affects the collector's edition and patron coffers buyers so I guess it's worse?I'm going to be tactful and say the Cormyr grand opening could have gone a bit better???
Will be terribly curious to see how things go tomorrow...![]()
Im waiting for POE2 as well. Super excited!Come on people lets be easy now.. Remember what was said in a post from.. I wont say who.... basically saying from the test day they had on Cormyr " We gathered a bunch of data " ..

I never care who owns games or the politics in a business. All I care about is if I am having fun in the game, and does it run good. Blizzard catches heat for all kinds of stuff , but I never cared. I will still play any game that is fun to play. What corporate unbrella are those games under, you may want to know that before you get invested in any of the games.
I still feel having a server that is supposed to be working better for only a certain class of players is like a slap to the rest of the community of players.Old players will remember this is exactly what happened when we had epic orchard of the macabre, whole game was down for two-three days. This part just has me chuckling. Not better servers to people who pay a fee. Its just poor business.
I heard it isnt great at all. Like it sucks as well. People never learn. This part just has me chuckling.
It's only been up a few hours, but I was chuckling at the idea of paying for premium service being bad business. It's a very common and profitable business practice.I heard it isnt great at all. Like it sucks as well. People never learn.

ALL of their servers should be top of the line 64 bit, running smooth.. Not better servers to people who pay a fee. Its just poor business. It wouldnt be too bad if they had functional servers to begin with, but they dont. And they cant even get their new shiny server working well from what I hear.
So glad to finally be away from the nonsense of behind the scenes.
The game itself is awesome, but the servers and the people who manage them are not doing a very good job.
They will blame the data center, that's a newest go too when placing blame.no past lives, no bloated bank accounts, no evil artificers and inquisitives shooting too many bolts to cause lag. I can't wait to hear what the excuse for THIS is.

I wouldn´t call a working server a "premium service". That should be the very basic infrastructure for an online game. It's only been up a few hours, but I was chuckling at the idea of paying for premium service being bad business. It's a very common and profitable business practice.
Hopefully, the game goes VIP only so that they have the money to make that investment.I wouldn´t call a working server a "premium service". That should be the very basic infrastructure for an online game.
And you have to invest money to make money and that´s very true for an online game. If they hope for people to spend money on the game, they need to do their homework first.
If the game goes VIP only they will make a lot less money. DDO already had a mandatory monthly sub and had to go free to play, that was about 17 years ago.Hopefully, the game goes VIP only so that they have the money to make that investment.
