What are somethings that would increase your goodwill towards the game?

Oooh boy, where do I start.

Lag. Fix it. I don't care how it's done or how long a downtime on the servers they need.
Roll over to the new 64bit servers. They have a game running on the 64bit server, just roll the user data across to it and stop *****-footing around making us all transfer to a new server which will leave old players behind when a guild moves as well as opening a plethora of other issues.

Make Cannith Crafting better (or a news crafting system) by breaking items down into their respective component prefixes/suffixes etc when Cannith Crafting allowing a player to combine effects depending on the item types found (hilts, crosspieces, blades etc)

Remove the bollocks rewards in the VIP Reward Program. We all complained and they didn't listen. That's bad.
Bring back quest packs to be free to play for VIP's. Every expansion pack has needed to be paid for even for VIP's Literally that bollocks.

More transparency in decision-making and consulting players or at the very least, the player council.

Let the players assist in upscaling the UI to work on 4k monitors. Seriously, why is this is STILL an issue?

Stop treating players like chumps. We are customers.

Did I miss saying Fix the Lag?

Gotta agree with cannith crafting, and the VIP rewards.
I'm baffled at how bad VIP is given the 15$ a month they are asking.

At this point I'm not sure there is anything to push the goodwill in the positive direction, and here is a few things as to why.
The never ending lag.
The nerfs to repair ssg screw ups, like the upcoming nerf.
The insult that we were given as vip that they call a vip reward system, like, are you serious ssg?
The removal of almost any reason to be vip.
The love for casters and hate for melee (especially monks) that ssg seems to have.
Insane amounts of necessary collectibles with nowhere to put them unless you buy more and more bags.
The muddling of the classes making no class actually necessary, all classes are anything.
The destruction of anything that stands out unless its caster. I enjoy caster, but I dont want to be forced in to one to feel powerful in high epics.
There is more, but this should be enough for now, since I'm sure some forum white knight will come to protect the devs.

Continue the 10% Buddy Boost is a step in the right direction.

After all, it was laggy as heck during the buddy boost.

Whenever people dont understand push back for them working on things that are unnecessary this is why. Things that aren’t necessary (like a hugely stupid vip rewards program that led to MORE vip cancellations, AND took support work , AND more developer time) - could’ve just been a bump in vip numbers (perma buddy bonus) and spent the time on cannith crafting.

Fire the producer and hire someone who actually likes the things the game offers, and doesn’t hate the player base. Maybe people have just worked there too long, they seem to just be bitter.

Absolutely not, I don't want VIP to have ANY EXP bonus. If makes running and leveling alongside VIPs without VIP absolutely impossible. They outlevel me so quickly with the base 10%, let alone a buddy bonus on top of that. Why am I being punished for BUYING everything for more money than if I subbed for the entire time I've played two times over?

I agree, the vip system is a joke at this point, the only reason to have it is to be able to enter dungeons on elite for the first time each life. All the bonuses that were supposedly a reason to be vip are mostly gone at this point. Then they go and completely slap you in the face with the supposed rewards program.

Vip should have a xp bonus. They have given away almost all of the game for free at this point, and the only thing left is the expansion packs that the vips also have to purchase. So if you're going by who has to purchase what, then vips spend more so should recieve more.

I don’t care. Either way just bump some vip number instead of spending time developing and supporting a very dumb process.

You know for the vip system they wasted everyone’s money, including premium to do it?

1. IMMEDIATELY allow free transfers to the 64-bit servers.
2. Massively increase the droprate of the MD rares and everything else for that matter in MD
3. Cut the HP of the MD raid on EVERYTHING in half
4. Troll as a playable race.
1. no
2. no
3. no
4. OK but all npc's either attack them with fire weapons or run away so you can never sell or repair

Stopping the constant events and working on other issues with the game would make me want to buy the new pack.

However, until I see some serious improvement in the gameplay, I won't be purchasing any more packs.
I very well may let my VIP go if things keep going downhill like they are.
I can't see paying $10 per month for a game that won't run properly.

I've dealt with this since day 1 of DDO. Nothing necessary, they will fix it, then it will come back. Fix it again, and on and on it goes. Nature of the beast at this point.

Abandon the whole "rare" loot table idea as it was implemented in Myth Drannor. The items on the "rare" table are just regular named items or some specific ones that are desirable for some builds, but nothing truly special or unique.

Keep it for things that are actually unique and interesting, like the Cursed Blade of Jack Jibbers (super unique effect, exclusive, and doesn't actually take up a gear slot).

4. Troll as a playable race.
1. not possible without massive item loss (at a minimum) -- mega server = 8 individual servers with all that server-specific data merged into 1
2. but they need your money
3. IDK anything else as I don't have MD but monster HP has gone crazy
4. **YES!! OMG, yes :ROFLMAO:

**Only after they accomplish #1.

The single most important thing that could be added to DDO is never going to happen because it does not directly generate income.
QUALITY. DDO, doesn't have it.
SSG obviously doesn't have the staff to maintain more than basic functionality.
It doesn't matter if SSG wanted to make DDO a quality offering, they do not have the staff or the funds to do it.
At this point I treat DDO as a (mostly) fun little game a handful of people run and expect it to be 'home brew' quality.
It is what it is.
If you temper your expectations, that will free you up to just have a bit of fun.
