What does "Be R10 capable" even mean?

R10 is Reaper mode level 10. It's an elitist thing mostly

Not even close. R10 gives you the most reaper experience and is actually pretty easy for most groups. Just have to play smart and pay attention.

Always gotta be hate for "Elitist Zergers". How about we ask casuals to put "I want to flower sniff quests" in their LFM?

Heh, the ones I have trouble keeping up with are the heroic R1 zergers. Some of y'all know every pixel and just zoom sooooo fast it's hard to keep up and contribute even knowing the quests -- my edge stops at about 90% that fast -- that last 10 is crazy.

I've not run into anyone overtly mean in that category. They're nice folk; it's more like "The Blues Brothers". They're on a mission from God and that mission is XP.

Wait, pug for me = pick up group - and I always assumed that meant like... "people not within our circle" - not player under grade - never heard of that player under grade

I like that definition for the acronym PUG a lot better than the one I have been using. I will be sure to use that definition from now on because I like it so much. The acronym and definitions will vary from old server to old server... now that we are merged, might as well reset those definitions to more polite and welcoming terminologies. But yes there are solo r10 capable people that do not mind picking up players that are not yet ready for reaper 10 content, and those people may be available for tough questions.

You're way off target. Zergers don't join flowersniffing LFMs. They create their own, because they want to play with people who have similar mindsets -- like knocking out R10 Ravenloft saga in under an hour.

Othering people by calling them "elitest zergers" is a you problem.

its a perspective thing... some think players are 'Zerging' because they are 6 rooms ahead.

Sometimes they are just much faster and more efficient.

My character speed just isnt fast enough to quite keep up with the really fast characters; but, my IRL friends are way slower than me> and they accuse me of rushing through when I'm at a moderately casual speed.

LOL If the groups 'really' zerging > just sit back and collect XP's until you get bored.

It always seems crazy when you are clearing all the rooms, doing all the quest objectives, pulling all the doors / levers, and people still can’t keep up.

All you have to do is run forward, you just can’t make it happen?

get real.... some players toons are silly fast, but i did make it happen when i grouped with your ......
