What is, in your opinion, your most fun build you've played?

IcyLokidottir

The Finnish Loki
Monk stick build with trapping - sometimes it feels like I can fly :D And then it can do aaaanything.

2nd favourite fun things: wolf/bear mixes

Back when builds had party roles to fill

I would agree with this. My best memories are from when each class had a role in the party, where you needed the party and the party needed you.

In a way, I think this is why so many players enjoy the "tank" role, since it's one of the last remaining specialties that can't be filled or half-filled by any class.

Zavina

Ms Stabby Stabby
I <3 assassin with a working stealth (not the screwup that it is now). Did that for so many years.

However, I must admit, I have a ball with ice warlock.

Not actually keeping count but nice to see a lot of ranger love here.

Of course my ranger Falcon/AA paralyzer leads the packs. Evolved from a pure ranger to a splash of rogue and left Shiradi for dreadnought.

For casters my cold druid is a joy because everything just freezes and explodes.

Thoroughly enjoyed leveling up an arcane trickster. No plan just pure unadulterated scorching cold fun that dropped almost everything in one click.

Hard one. I'm stuck between pure fire sorc or cold druid. Both are wrecking balls and can CC in a pinch. Though far from the heaviest hitters now days.

Scourge of Xaos
Bow Ranger has always been my favourite. Its just a shame SSG hasnt cared for bows ever.

Rogue Mechanic was a lot of fun. Bear Druid too. Honourable mention was Swashbucker.
I think since they removed manyshot and then if that wasn't enough overhauled them completely.

I have a couple.

My current 14 Bard/6 Dragon Lord WF has been really fun. VERY big damage, got crits over 4k while levelling. So much CC as well in the build.

I also had fun with 12 Barb/8 Fighter pick-barian. Enemies dying very fast, although it was first life.

Lastly, the current stick build I have foir one of my character has been surprisingly tanky. 13 BC/6 DL/1 Rogue.

So many satisfying to play builds over the years. All of them nerfed or only became fun because they revealed a bug. :p

CC+wounding/puncturing wizard. Facloner Cleric that could insta kill orange names. Alchemist tank that could flash freeze everything cause breath weapon dc's unexpectedly added to transmutation dcs.

But what was the most fun was the suggestion tank or charm tank. It was a classic fighter tank, but with a splash of bard cause i was doing a scoundrel life, but decided to give it enchantment dc's good enough to use Suggestion to charm reapers.

This was back when charming a monster wouldn't strip a monster of their power and loved charming and dragging Carnage Reapers through the quest, buffing it and watching it destroy everything in its path! But the funniest part is when they'd break the charm and chase down party members. Often one shotting them if the reaper level was high enough and they weren't paying attention. XD

Made for some of the silliest ways to run 10's that I won't soon forget

I am having fun with the Arcane Trickster, running 16 AT, 4 Stormsinger. Thinking of other options, 15 AT/5 Chaos Cleric, 14 AT, 6 Wizard Archmage. My only gripe with the Arcane Trickster is the Magical Ambush scaling. It would be cooler if it scaled 25% in level 3 core, 50% level 6 core, 75% level 12 core, 100% level 18 core.

It's really a shame that they nerfed charm so much in reaper. The entire point of the spell is that you can get mobs to do your work for you at the cost of not being able to attack it. With the damage so nerfed you might as well throw a CC spell instead, it's the same DC mechanics. There is even a hidden nerf on charm durations ever since the introduction of epic elite and epic shrouds.

A classic example of heavy-handed nerfing that effectively just removed a complex capability from the game. Just like stealth and invis. I remember when Dominate Monster was strong and fun, an actual competitor with Mass Hold and Wail for the SL9 slots.

I think since they removed manyshot and then if that wasn't enough overhauled them completely.

If they wont change the number of arrows we need to double again the contribution from your main stst so each arrow punches harder.

And they need another serious AOE.

Artificer has so many options and so many bolts. Inquis too.

And shuri just throws a million shuriken a minute. So Shiradi procs non stop.
