What would you fix?

I read a story about a developer that had an issue with a product he loved, with a bug they just never fixed. He got a job at the company, fixed the bug and handed in his notice.
If you were in this position and could fix one bug in DDO which one would it be? (we'll assume you have the knowledge and ability for sake of discussion)

for me, it's my favourite class and the even better iconic they added for it Dark Bargainers. The damage scaling is just broken to a laughable state (ie I'd make epic destinies work for them)

I have a feeling there's a certain someone out there that would fix the monster manual (after 1111 days of frustration)

not really a bug.. but having the benefit of hindsight... I so badly would love to make effect types more intuitive, consistent, and easier to work with.

That something I feel like I could actually do. Longer standing/higher priority issues and features (imo) like monster manuals, stuck transfers, ui scaling, etc.. may be a bit beyond my current knowledge base.

Doesn't have to be a bug, maybe I should have worded it what would you change.

I guess another for me is I would love my quarterstaff holding mages to hold the staff like a mage and not a bo staff user.

I'd fix it so that when mobs get "talkative" overhead HP bars and (if present) champ type doesn't get covered by "ow i stubbed my toe!" every 2 seconds... (I'm looking at you drows!)

I would rewrite the NPC/enemy AI routines.
I would re-design from scratch the entire UI.
I would fix that flash of the mob on it's frame 1 pose, before the mob actually plays the spawn animation.

+1 for a UI update. I think I might change mine to that! Imagine if it had lua like the likes if wow and people could make their own additions within reason.

maybe a bar that holds you keys you push until they go off. having to click the same hotbar button over and over is getting very old.

Not that it is important by any means, but I noticed that all toons all races and all classes are right handed. Using a ranged firing behind an object requires us to always have to fire from the right. If that is not an option, it leaves no other choice but to stand in the open. From Playing SOCOM back in the day, walls saved your life, and ended the others that would stray into your sights.

More options at creation to not make everyone pigeonholed into looking the same would offer more diversity like selecting handedness.

Add a long list of sounds you can mute that come from other players (and yourself), not just runearm charging
Real comprehensive list for all my noise anxiety homies, including the ones that personally I think are fine.

I'd bring back class interdepencies, making sure that all classes had a signifigant role in the end game. Rather than Matrials can do everything philosophy SSG unleashed on the game.

NPC coding is minimalistic for server performace.

I'd add a threshold to damage equal to 10% of player max hp to avoid animation interruptions on interacting with doors/levers / etc - and if the damage is higher than 10% of player hp, to still have a concentration check on if the action is interrupted or not.

Mean fix: Quicken spell Metamagic working for sorcerer's, bards and other spontaneous spells, they should cast more but slower than memorized classes, not faster. :devilish:

Pet peeve (one of many): Map shrinking whenever you go to the Airship
