Whatever happened with epic XP persisting like legendary plans?

I love how legendary XP persists thru a TR. There had been mention that (systems permitting) that epic XP might do the same (when not doing an ER). Is there any word on if this is still being worked on? Did it get send to land of the lost where it was just too hard to implement? Is it on the "someday" list?

Systems schedule didn't permit us to add this speculative feature in when we added Legendary XP. To my knowledge, it was never actually worked on, and isn't a real feature - It's on the "maybe someday" list for now.

Thanks for the info Steel. Fingers crossed that the someday eventually works out with enough dev time freed up to do it.

I would like to add my voice to the please do this some day crowd. I know a dev said it was an enormous amount of work, but it would be an appreciated QoL feature. (by me at least)

Would be nice if when you make it to 30 but don't do an ER and go straight to TR, you could level up to 20 again and then just go right back to 30. If you did an ER and then TR, you should have to re-level Epic XP. This comes up for me having done my epic past lives and having to basically level up epics for nothing when I want to switch endgame build, kinda meh.

This feature seems like a win win situation.. people could do a TR/RR and be back to endgame quickly, ER after finishing heroics to fix their build cause their epic build doesn't work in heroics, or just not have their time wasted because they've finished all their epics.

I enjoy doing epic content, way more than heroic content. Just add more epic past lives.
