What's in hoard of discovery?

Anyone have a clue?

Since it's one per account, I'd like to know what choice I'm making when claiming it on a character.

Meh. A Soverign II XP pot, a Greater Discovery pot, a Reincarnation timer reset and a creature companion. Everything is BtA anyway, so if you have shared bank you can move it to another toon...

1 XP pot granting +50% for 12 hours.

Plus a cosmetic pet of either a Tan Stripe Pseudo Dragon or a Snow Owl Bear.

Sadly the link I was able to find to the year of the dragon rewards only had a "come back later, on October 30th" text. Glad they at least had it written somewhere.

Year of the Dragon – October!​

The Year of the Dragon celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons with free gifts every month! Read more about the Year of the Dragon on DDO.com.

Starting on Wednesday, October 30th through November 26th, 2024, all players can speak to Xatheral in the Eberron Hall of Heroes to get a Hoard of Discovery for your account. The Hoard of Discovery is a Bound to Account item delivery and selection box that provides the following on one game world:

  • 1 Greater Elixir of Discovery
  • 1 Complete Reincarnation Timer Reset
  • 1 Sovereign II Experience Elixir
  • and your choice of either a Snowy Owlbear Creature Companion or a Tan-Striped Pseudodragon Creature Companion!

Notes:​

  • The Hoard of Discovery is only redeemable once per account, and only delivers items to one game world.
  • All items are Bound to Account.
  • The Creature Companion certificates are Bound to Account and will apply the Creature Companion to the stable on the server you redeem the certificate on.
  • Players must speak to Xatheral prior to November 27th in order to receive the Hoard of Discovery, but the item itself can be used whenever you wish.
  • After speaking to Xatheral the Hoard of Discovery item will be in your inventory. Double click on the item to open the selector panel to choose either your Pseudodragon or Owlbear. Once you have made your selection the Creature Companion Certificate of your choice and the consumable items will appear in your inventory.

I certainly hope that was a glitch. auto-consuming exp and guild renown grants from sagas is one thing, auto consuming potions from a loot crate is a completely different thing.
