What's the next class you feel should get an archetype?

Would have loved a Duergar barbarian..

I always thought of a rogue as more of a bard with thieving skills (which I think was PnP 2nd. edition?!?) That would be a great combo.
Scoundrel would be another good name for that, but that's already an iconic. 😕 Swindler???
Fun fact: In AD&D 1st edition, to become a bard, the player must first reach at least 5th level as a fighter, then switch to the thief class before 8th level, then become a druid before level 9. Gygax envisaged the bard as a somewhat thief-like class, and the historical connections between the bard and druid of Celtic history were well-established.

And if you take D&D history into account, I would argue even more strongly that there should be a bard archetype able to handle traps and locks!

I wouldn't mind seeing a CHA based bard rogue sub-class. Total support role, but would be an interesting build.

I've always felt that early levels were night and day different as a wizard if you were Warforged versus any other race.

In the really early days of the game a Halfling with mark was an option. Partly because the amount of damage you faced was considerably lower.
Later on Half-Elf with a dilettante granting access to healing wands (and if cleric version 95% success heal scrolls at 10th) also was semi-viable.

To say nothing of the really old options of things like a stack of tasty hams. Or a couple specific shard trinkets. A good arcane pilot really didn't need a ton of healing with some proper emplacement of web or other valid CC. Only the first few levels absolutely sucked because of the double trouble of obnoxiously small MP (and no SLA to speak of back then) and unreliable CC with first level spells. At fourth level you had both CC and a master's touch Carnifex to lean on for when blue bar usage was at a premium.

Honestly, I feel like it has been a long time since we got a brand new class, and would love to see a non-archteype in the near future.

I would love to see fighter replace Kensai with a Weaponmaster and make Samurai its own class. This also opens the door for more exotic weapon options in the game. Then we could get a new Oriental themed expansion.

I used to think Psion would be cool, but I am sure they will be in a similar position as other casters at end game. So just not excited about this option.

If had to pick an archetype, I guess maybe Totem Barbarian sounds pretty cool and unique.
