What's up with the store

I just made a purchase for points, received the email notification, bank was dinged for the purchase, but points were NOT applied.

If SSG wants to keep the remainder of their player base, this isn't the way to do it.

Dagg the broke!

Just bought points and all worked as it should. I recommend putting in a customer service ticket.

Bought last night and today...no issue. Drop a ticket.
Already did. What's wierd, the store does not show a transaction has occured, but my bank account sure does. I wonder if this falls under wire transfer fraud? Probably not but.....

That should be easy to fix from the transaction history on their side. They hopefully can give you your points before the weekend. Their customer service queue is probably long now although purchasing issue requests may rightly get priority attention.

Coming up on four hours since purchase and still no reply on my ticket. Sad.

Next legal step is to contest purchase with my bank institution once it's no longer in pending status

All tickets are backed up because of the amount of manpower being put into the lag and transfer issues. It's going to take a while to get to, but they're not purposely stealing your money dude. Take a chill pill.

Be careful, this could lead to your DDO account getting banned.
Not likely, documentation, documentation, documentation. A transaction occured, transaction was processed through bank account, item of said transaction was not delivered.

I am in my legal rights to contest said transaction.

@Lagin that's the weird thing. In game transaction history does not reflect the transaction. Only email receipt and bank records show the transaction occured.

Yes, and SSG can terminate your account for literally any reason. I've seen plenty of other online games terminate accounts for charge backs. Just give them time to look at your ticket instead of jumping to legal measures.

check your inventory. I've had on one occasion, for reasons unknown, my DDO points appeared as a token in the inventory that I had to click to get it to add to my DDO store points tally

Some of you in this thread are disgusting. The guy gave the company his money and didn't receive what he paid for, and you're all up in here white knighting SSG.

They are warning against an action that HAS had detrimental consequences in the past. Not the same as white knighting...
Charging back when you have actually received what you purchased can and should result in such actions.

Charging back when the system did not actually give you what you paid for is literally the legal remedy for a customer, and retaliation for utilizing such remedy is illegal.

If you did not receive items paid for and can prove it you’re in a special category I think.

If you do a chargeback on most transactions you will be banned.

I would let it ride a bit longer and I would send a PM to Cordovan on the missing items before I thought about charging back.

Any yet people have had their accounts banned in the past for charge backs. That's all I was warning about. Whether it's right or not is not at question.
