When's the new race dropping?

That is true. But the day I dont like the game enough to purchase the latest xpac is the day I no longer play the game.

Thats the real test to me.

I'm willing to stay and influence the game. Rare loot is a choice that doesn't need to be permanent. They can go back to the way things were.

I'm also not too worried about getting new expansions when they come out because, for most of DDO's history, the newest content was too difficult to be enjoyable. For most of my years I felt pretty weak and content always being made more difficult wasn't enjoyable. Not having to deal with the hardest content for a year or two is actually pretty nice as I and the people I group with are stronger by the time I face the content for the first time. Granted, this is not as much of a problem as it used to be as I feel far stronger than I did many years ago.

The race and Iconic will be available once the pre-order drops. With multiple Lammania sessions down this will likely be within the next couple of weeks.

The actual expansion will hit 1-2 months after pre-order. Note this is also when racial completionist will be updated to require the new race.

The DDO point versions of the the expansion, race, and Iconic will be available some months (6?) later.

Hopefully enough to them exercise enough self-control to not simply give in and buy whatever garbage is made for them. There isn't much point in coming to the forums to complain about something you don't like if the Devs know you are a sucker that will give them money no matter what they do. It's like complaining about change and voting for the same political party 100% of the time no matter what they do. Your opinion only matters if you are willing to withhold your money/vote.

My point was the forums don't represent the whole of the community. Forums in general attracts people who tend to be... strongly opinionated. Myself included. But not everyone views it as "garbage". Some people have been enjoying the content they have been putting out.

Clearly before 7/9. If the migration doesn't go well and people take a break - they want that to be after the pre-purchase.
