They really do need to make it easier for players where to start one of the Expansions... It's kind of ridicilous people have to use the wiki to find how to enter some of the Expansions area's or where the starting quest NPC is. We need this in the game!

So... "Open the map an look for the "green star" marker" (literally took me 3 seconds to find) is the IQ200 requirement or something operation nowadays ? 🤔
That's not even sad. It's terrifying.

Well, the devs could make finding new places a little bit easier. Yet it's not that impossible or hard as it already is.

Yeah, they could have sent an in-game e-mail with what to find where. Didn't they used to do that when a new pack or expansion came out?

So where do the players get the info about the map where the entrance is? Or do they have to look for that green star on each and every public area?

Yes you really are.

That.

It is ridiculous.

Apparently people who purchased a bundle received a game email but people getting standard edition did not. So the game tells you where to find the goodies but not the adventures XD

That maybe helps the first time after buying. But when I want to run an old expansion or adventure pack that I haven't played in ages it's always such a headache to find where to start.
There should be a menu thing where you can select Expansions or Adventure packs you want to play and when you select them explain how to start it and where to go. Or even teleport you to the starting NPC/entrance.

Most people dont look at the map because most people dont even know its exists too see those markers.

Can't they see the huge round thingy with buttons hanging in the upper right corner of the screen ?
Although...
Here, in another thread, one guy claimed that, having a wife and a subscription (a subscription to DDO, not to wife), he is forced to repeat heroic sagas for 3 years. Anything is possible.

On the other hand, what RPG game doesn't have a map ?! (Legend of Grimrock, maybe, if my memory serves me well. 🙄)

If only there were Cleric vendors in front of it, or something like that to make it more obvious. That'd be a great idea.
