Where's the Ravenloft Bottle of Mist in the store?

The wiki at least strongly implies they are the same. They are both level 20 gold seal hirelings that can be summoned 2 levels before you get to their level. But yes, they are different hirelings and thus can both be in the party at the same time, though I think you can do that with any gold seal hireling. I recall my girlfriend and I both having our onyx panthers in the party at the same time, so I think that is a feature of gold seal hirelings.

Anyway, all that said, it is time to add all permanent gold seal hirelings to the DDO store for points. They can change the name and color if they want so people that bought the expansions can have two at the same time if they wish.
Alabaster is level 20, useable at 18.

Unless my brain has fried, which is possible. (I've been watching training videos all friggin day)

It is level 18. The black is level 20. They are different.

If you summon the black at 18 you ruin your xp.

There is no reason to feel angry because SSG created alabaster. You can have both and play with both at the same time. In epics, the black is a little more durable than the alabaster, because it has slightly better stats at level 20.

You have had to pay for both too. In fact, the black was one more benefit among other benefits, and it was also just for placing the order a little earlier. People who paid the same just a few days later did not receive it. So don't feel cheated by the creation of alabaster.

The best is when one misclicks a teleport option they don't own and put them all on cooldown as a result. I love the all-in-one clicky but I do wish it either only showed ones I owned or prevented using ones I don't.
I take out the icons that I have in a shortcut bar, up on the screen. But it's also fun when you misclick on a destination you don't want and end up having to wait a minute until you can activate the teleporter again.

I would like the IoD scroll and the Vecna scroll to have different colors...

Summon the lioness in quest and look at it's level, I'll wait.

You don't pull out the (functional in your case) destination you want onto a hotbar and just click like that? Am I the only one who does that? Whilst I have all destinations available, for the accounts that don't, I always pull out the destinations they can reach to avoid hitting any they can't.

Yes, like I said, I do. And as distracted as I am, many times I end up in vecna instead of IoD because the icon is identical lol

I usually spread them out on the hotbar in a way that there's no confusion where you go. Sharn for example I only have the bar and the airship access, with the access on the left most spot and the bar on the right most. This helps prevent confusion on the teleport hotbar setup. Or in the case of multi-locations, dot them in between to separate them out.

I prefer to have them all together, and above the screen where they do not interfere with the gameplay. That makes me more prone to errors, but they don't hinder me in normal gameplay either.

Although I would like vecna and IoD destinations to simply have different colors. It would avoid some mistakes due to oversight.

No, I don't (except on HC for a quick escape). The last thing I want to do is click something that will teleport me right out of a reaper quest or raid if I didn't notice the misclick/cast bar (and I know the odds are low, but I've had that happen before so nope, not again).

That's why I put them up on the screen, far from my normal accesses in a quest, which are at the bottom.

But we each have our tastes and our manias. A couple of days ago my partner took my account to test something with my sorc (he TR'ed his), and he found my layout of spells, scrolls and such extremely confusing lol. The same thing would happen to me with his characters.

Months ago on a livestream Sev confirmed there was work done with the Ravenloft teleporter (Bottle of Mist) so it could be sold in the DDO Store. When is it going to be available for purchase?
I think they snuck it in during the restart...

My 13th year in DDO and I continue to learn new stuff all the time. I did not realize that the destinations could be copied to a bar.

You think that’s a bottle? ?

However, if they offer the bottle, they need to work on the back-end to make your account qualify for owning the top tier bundle.

If they release the actual Ravenloft bundles, then they have to figure out how to make the VIP access codes work.

The easier CoA is probably making the bottle available. The qualification can be changed to check a flag indicating that you own the teleport item (bottle of mist in the case of Ravenloft), rather than having purchased the top tier bundle. Either purchase (bundle or teleport item) would set the flag.

Or they can make the VIP activation automatic in that account, it seems easier. After all, now we buy the xpacks only for our account...

Same with teleport destinations from spell or clickies.
Also similar are multiple versions of elements when casting protection/resist.

I too continue to learn new features in the game. I just learned a few months ago that you can drag more than 8 items into a trade window & it simply adds a scroll bar.

No, erethizon1 and phoenicis are correct. Both panthers are Level 20 fighters that are summonable at Level 18. Both have 683 hit points and appear to be the same except for color. But you can play both at the same time.

Ok, it's good to learn something new. I have almost all the hirelings, but to tell the truth I only use them as lever pullers, except for the trappers.

But still, my point remains. You can have both active, so technically they are not the same item, and if you have both and use hirelings, you have a clear benefit for having both. So why feel deceived?

Agreed on that last point. Feeling deceived because others later got something almost the same as the exclusive item seems silly. One is black, one is white. Everyone will know who bought the expansion and wishes to show it by summoning the onyx panther. Now if they were actually impressive hirelings and someone got the exact same (albeit a different color) for cheaper, I could see the concern but they are little better than lever pullers ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
