Who else is sort starting to get depressed by the idea of saying goodbye to old home servers and alts?

I passed the guild to my only other guild member active at the time, still log in for gold rolls, but he havent been consistantly on Ghall for a year, last two weeks he was on, but if hes not on when the migration starts, i will have to upsurp and maybe transfer out to god knows where and two 2k shard ships is kinda wasteful on one server, as I barely lvl the ships up, I might just have to regain the 108 lvl ship and transfer the 78 ship out.
msg the guild member AND msg SSG and see where that takes you. SSG might gift you guild leader so you can xsfer that guildship to a desired 64bit server

I find myself paring down to 4 or 5 characters per server as I go through them in prep for the move. Some servers it is just a couple making the move. I'm prioritizing characters at or near cap or with past lives and all of them with 5 bags open from favor unlocks to make the moves easier.

Cannith will be the only problem because it was my main server for so long and I only moved a couple of characters to Orien when the opportunity presented. That's also where my pocket guild is so it will take some time to sort out order of movement for the characters. With the guild leader packing and going first and then unpacking wherever they wind up before I pack the other characters and the alt account characters in the guild.

I'm stripping and deleting all the characters not destined to move as I get to them to avoid having confusion during the main move push.

call me cynical but I bet SSG hoping we leave a ton of characters behind along with excess “junk”. Maybe that’s the reasoning for all this complicated pack/unpack stuff.

Anyway, come to Shadowdale everyone ! It’s going to be chill and fun!

I'm not sad about leaving the server for the new one. Your ALTs don't get left behind unless you want them to.

I play with my friends, and will go where they go. What the server is called and what kind of hardware it is is irrelevant. Looking forward to less lag and lower latency on Moonsea, leaving Ghallanda and Orien means nothing to me 😇

Yeah I dont much care about leaving Argo. A ping which will be just below 200ms and twice as many players or more is what I look forward to.

The server really means nothing. It will be what the players make of it.

I doubt they much care. They know that there will be hundreds of thousands of old accounts which clog up the old servers which wont be on the new servers. That is likely a far bigger thing.
